My son and I stayed here for one night only, thankfully. ||The positives : location was good and the staff member I encountered was lovely and very helpful. ||The negatives : parking was very difficult, the room and facilities were EXTREMELY dated and run down. I had hoped the cleanliness might make up for the condition of the property, but alas, my son found half a biscuit under the couch and the inside of the microwave was covered in old food remnants. |For the price paid, it was a very disappointing experience.

When I arrived to check in, the man behind the desk was rude and unwelcoming.

Walked into the room and instantly got hit with the smell of cigarettes and damp/mould. There was open wires in the old air conditioner, the bathroom exhaust fan was filthy, toilet was not clean (urine and used toilet paper) and the wall looked like someone had angrily punched it. After 10 minutes I decided to check out and cancel my accomodation due to my asmtha flaring up from the smells of the room.

Attempted to open the window to air it out but the noise on the street was loud and lots of bugs flying in.

Got a gorgeous apartment at Oaks for $15 more than what I paid for this dump.

The manager was the rudest person and was completely uncontactable. The hot water wasn't working, the property is clearly damaged and is in need of maintenance, bathroom was not even properly cleaned, wasn't given the wifi instructions, it's winter and there wasn't even a doona on the bed, a used one was in the cupboard and I would never stay there again. As a accommodation supplier myself, I was disgusted mostly by the service but the facilities are completely run down. Manager refused to give me the owners information. Will be lodging a formal complaint and also notifying the Brisbane City Council. Manager tried to lie after I left at 7am to go and find a shower somewhere that worked, he tried to tell me there was no issues. Absolutely shocking. I am sure the only reason why he said that is so he didn't have to issue any form of refund. As a justice of the peace and a accomadation supplier, this isn't something I would ever make up. This is my very first bad review for somewhere I have stayed. I will be contacting the council, the owners and telling everyone not to ever stay here.

DO NOT STAY HERE.

Visited for Cold Chisel last week. I booked the room 4 months earlier for 3 adults and a 2yr old. Received confirmation email and again 2 days before booking. Arrived into Brisbane about 3pm. My daughter flew into Brisbane airport from NZ with toddler about 6.30pm. All of us straight into the taxi and off to Spring Hill Terraces arrived after 7pm with a very tired toddler on board. Rang number on the gate they couldn't find the booking. Owner called back 10 mins later to confirm they indeed didn't have a booking and were totally booked out. 4 months earlier I had made the booking!!!!! 4 months!!!!!! I was beside myself. Big thank you the The Johnston Hotel who kindly took us in and prepared the one room they had available even installing a crib. They lowered the price to match what was to be paid at the Amateur Spring Hills Terrace and thank you to the owner who hung up on me when I said I will be forced to write a review. Pay the few extra dollars and stay with professionals.

I stayed in a single room. Very clean, bed comfortable. Desk, fridge and microwave, plus jug. Split system aircon and TV. Soap etc supplied.|Management was extremely helpful.|It was a busy Saturday night, so there was some traffic noise.|Walked to Wickham Terrace for dinner and felt quite safe.|Cab from airport was $50 but also accessible by train which would be much cheaper.

I have been staying at Spring Hill Terraces Motel & Apartments for a few months now. Hans and his team make my weekly business travel a breeze. Easy check in and out. Very secure. Very clean. Room just what I need for corporate travel. Great location near CBD and Fortitude Valley. I will continue every week and I highly recommend Hans and his Hotel to everyone who needs a clean, convenient, secure and affordable place to stay in Brisbane.

Got a deluxe room which was ok. The photos online made it seem way better than it was. The reno was very cheap. Tissues stuffed in the walls. Could also hear next door through a gap in the wall. Also wasn’t given enough bowls/cutlery for 2. The bed wasn’t very comfortable. However I love the cute doggie at the front desk. The pool is kind of silly. Didn’t try it out though.

First impression from street was of a tired and old complex. Steel gate full height barrier fencing wasn’t inviting & handwritten sign saying ring reception looked crook. |Reception was friendly, welcoming and gave good directions to nearby food etc. Nice guy. Reception gentleman was friendly and helpful always. Cross him and I know he would be tough.|I am an older disabled man and found the stairs step and car parking a challenge. Bonus is that whole complex and guest cars are secure. Everything was clean. Basic budget accommodation priced correctly. Location is definite bonus, walked to train station, restaurant, and supermarket with ease.|Room was old but clean. Bathroom and carpet recently updated. Frosted glass in bathroom allows light to flood in at night. Room had air conditioner / heater. Stayed in May and a blanket would have been appreciated. A donna, minus a cover was in closet.|I booked budget accommodation, looking for a bed for two nights. Look it’s a little old but partially renovated and clean, an ok price, close to the city and Fortitude Valley and the host was friendly and helpful!|
