Best park in Newcastle for both kids and adults, beautiful location and lots of activity options. Bench sheds & hot plates makes it ideal for any outdoor gathering. Lots of play equipments and some sand pits with water play options. Walking & cycling paths and even body exercise equipments. There's a cafe inside to fulfill your outdoor cravings. Scenic views of the beautiful lake Macquarie alongside the park. Accessible toilets and fair space for parking. All in one place to enjoy & relax with family and friends.

“As a mom, I am absolutely thrilled with the Speers Point playground. It’s incredibly spacious, safe, and packed with activities for kids of all ages. My daughter had the best time on the slides, and the climbing area is fantastic for challenging kids’ abilities in a secure environment. I love that there are shaded areas and plenty of seating where we can relax while keeping an eye on the kids. The view of Lake Macquarie nearby adds such a beautiful touch to the experience. What I appreciate the most is the focus on safety, with thoughtful design everywhere. We can easily spend hours here without getting bored. It’s truly one of the best playgrounds in the region!”

A fantastic playground for kids of all ages. Our grandkids, 2 and 4 years old, had a great 2 hours there. Toilets, Cafe, close to the Lake, plenty of parking available. It's the best playground in Lake Macquarie and probably Newcastle. Beautiful grounds with trees, shrubs and grasses and lots of shady picnic areas.

Very nice and beautiful park. Awesome scenic view of Cockle bay. Couple of picnic shades. Big fantastic playground for kids for lot of activities. Well and nicely maintained area. Toilets are in good condition. You can enjoy your whole day there with family while kids can play in playground or big field in the middle. Ample parking ?️ but bit hard to get a spot on weekend or public holidays if their is any festival going on. We spotted possum on day time.

Best playground I have ever been to. Will absolutely return to Newcastle (we are from Queensland and stopped here while driving through to Sydney) specifically to go back.

I have a 1 and 3 year old who both loved it. Queensland parks are strongly lacking!

The kids playground is really good with plenty to keep your kids occupied including a really high slide. Then there's plenty of pinic tables beside the water for that picnic lunch. After go for a walk beside the lake and watch the boats. Perfect

We have been taking our kids here for years. Our 3 kids now aged 7,9 and 10 always have a great time and we have troubles getting them to leave. They play in the small hedge maze, the bike track, the water play area and a favourite would have to be the 4 story slide. The undercover tables make a great spot for birthday parties. The cafe is well sited if you are feeling peckish. The bathrooms have always been clean when we have been. If it is a hot day then we take the kids for a splash in the waters along the edge of the lake. Highly recommend.
