Every now and then you find a few special people who not only care about their product or service, but actually care that you the customer is happy and getting value for money, especially in terms of service and support.

I had the great pleasure of dealing with SpaNet recently, I had an older spa and really needed some help and support to bring the old thing back to life.

I think it was Murray who answered the phone and spoke to us at Mulgrave, apologies if my memory isn't great, you know who you are. And Simon whose knowledge of the product was Superior.

You guys gave us all we needed, and phone support was always timely and with a smile, nothing seemed too hard.

At my age Service and Support are still a big commodity, so Thankyou.

I don’t usually write ‘Reviews’, but on this occasion, I couldn’t help myself.

Our Spanet spa pool is 11 years old and at times, a party centre!!

Recently, on returning from and road trip, our Spa would not start and there was an odd feature on the controller touch pad. I struggled through the “Owners Manual” and attempted to reset the controller several times! But, no luck!

So off to Mr Google. Eventually, I did what I should have done in the first place, contacted “[email protected]”. A little surprisingly, I received an almost immediate response from Murray at SpaNET service. Murray explained that the abnormal pool water temperature reading
(99.7º) was an error message and that the heat sensor attached to the heater tube under the Spa Controller, was the problem and would have to be replaced. Murray asked would I like the names of one or two local service people. I said yes and, thank you.

Then I started thinking, I’m a pretty good ‘Handy man’ and with the help of my next door, ‘Industrial electrician’ neighbour, as a back up, I should be able to do the job myself.

With Murray’s quick response again, I identified the small heat sensor, ordered and paid for a new part on line from SpaNet and set about dismantling the controller. Murray acknowledged receipt of my order and promised to include detailed instructions with the part.

The mailed package from SpaNet, which included detailed instructions, arrived the very next day.

I continued dismantling the controller/heater tube arrangement to enable removal and replacement of the heat sensor with my neighbour looking over my shoulder. When he noted the complex Circuit Boards (“CB’s”) in the controller, he said ‘he didn’t touch CB’s, told me to call him when I was ready to turn the power on, and took off.

The heater sensor replacement was a quite complicated and delicate operation. I now know my “handy man skills” were overstated. I simply could not have done what I set out to do without the very considerable assistance provided by Murray.

The help and attention received from SpaNet Service deserves a definite AA++++
