Staff are fantastic.
Meals are a great size good price and yummy!
Enough pokies to have some fun and usually a raffle or two through the week n weekend. Coffee n cake.
Great meal specials for members...
And of course... Bowls.

I can highly recommend the food in this club. They're new menu is outstanding. Plenty of Gluten Free options.
The oysters are exceptionally fresh and full of flavour.
I can highly recommend the Beef Crispy noodle salad.

Paid $13.85 for a large chips for lunch, they came one minute later luke warm. Staff are amazing and lovely but wont be having food there again. Not worth the price paid

Was a great local and great prices! Good value for money and Visited frequently. recent menu change and with it price increase (understandable) but items have increased by 20 - 25% so With that i now expect the meals to be of a greater standard and on par with other top line restaurants that charge similar prices and i feel one can be a lot more critical of the product. Souths are no longer a good value for money establishment. The value has disappeared and the food isn’t good enough to justify some prices. Better off taking your money and going elsewhere to a better quality restaurant.

Good atmosphere. Was fun to have a bowl on the green with the family before grabbing dinner. The kids enjoyed the kids room. While the meals may ocassionally be a little slow to come but tonight was worth the extra bit of time plus just gave us more time to catch up with the family. The rib eye steak was cooked perfect medium rare. The special of the day the Macadamia Nut and Coconut Battered fish was beautiful! Crunchy on the outside and soft in the centre. 🤗👍😊

Went for tea there on Tuesday night there was 6 of us...
Had sirloin steak tough as
One had road pork and vegetables..the vegetables were disgusting..no other word I could use .. corn was brown and old. Everything was so overcooked and looked like they cooked it at 8 in morning and just sat there..

South’s Suburban is my family’s happy place for reunions. My Uncle Howard lives in Mackay with the rest of the family scattered between Wollongong NSW and Mount Isa QLD
We love the friendly atmosphere at Souths Suburban. The food is great and the drinks are priced very reasonably.
Older family members find disabled access excellent.
