Wow this place has gone downhill. Food was disgusting.. Chicken that was chewy you couldn't eat it.. They couldn't even get a pizza right. Kids Ham n Cheese pizza which the child couldn't eat as it didn't taste right. Definitely won't be recommending this place to anyone. EAT AT YOUR OWN RISK

Extremely pleased with the service that I received. I held a function with less than Two days notice. The team were able to cater for 40 people withCoffee and tea on arrival In a private venue. I ordered platters at a Reasonable prices. Tables And lounge area were clean, also cleared straight away after Everyone had finished eating. I highly recommend this venue. Five stars from me!
Thank you very much again. I will definitely Book here again.

What do I start, the decor is very average the lighting was sufficient but lacked atmosphere and it's just a long rectangle building that has no privacy or character if you want a personal experience, I guess I've been spoilt coming from Brisbane, Sydney and the Gold Coast where people tend to have but more flair in design, the kids play area was ok but nothing to rave about.
The staff seemed like it was a chore to be there and not many smiles were going around just long faces but it was a week night.
The sporting ground was well maintained but didn't have enough seating for a great viewing experience not to mention as I was seated outside 1 of the locals walked out the door n took a big throat gargle then spat at the ground right in front of me 🥴 I thought how charming is this place, I will not be returning anytime soon.

Visited the South’s club tonight for dinner with a table of four. Every single one of us ordered the Sirloin Steak, and every single one of those steaks was overcooked. When we were asked how the meal was, we pointed out the obvious mistake, and the manager promised to look into it. Instead, they walked around the restaurant, completely avoiding our table and did absolutely nothing. After waiting 15 minutes with no response, we finally went up to the manager, who told us the steaks were overcooked because they had a change in chefs mid-way through cooking. And then, they had the audacity to say there was nothing they could do about it. Pathetic meal, and even worse customer service. There’s no way I’ll be rushing back to this place anytime soon.

WORST STEAK WE HAVE EVER HAD. We ordered Sirloin steak MEDIUM and RARE- the steak was just about well done and chewy. We were about 1/4 through eating our meal when a lady who seemed to be the restaurant manager? Came up and asked how our meals were, told her it was all severely overcooked and she looked at all our meals and said she’d see what she could do… 15 minutes later still sitting there with her ignoring us until we had finished our meals probably hoping we’d just leave and WE HAD TO WAVE HER OVER. She said the reason why the steaks were so over cooked was because they changed chefs and was nothing she could do as we didn’t initially go up. WHY ASK US THEN?!? Why is it our fault because you changed chefs that our meal tasted horrible. Absolutely pathetic customer service from the short hair blonde restaurant manager. Once seeing our meals, you could have offered for the steaks to be redone or given a partial/full refund.

I went to souths tonight for dinner. I came within the last 30 mins before the kitchen shut and received this. Not only did the chef miss half the parmi with cheese but it just was a very mediocre parmi in general. I was disappointed as I know I've had a better meal from here

Sent an email to the GM as requested, and nothing. Absolutely nothing. Just goes to show your response is all lip service and you don't care about customers as you rake in the money from the poker machines.
Have been and will continue to tell everyone I know about this poor experience.

Worst club experience ever.
Terrible staff who had no idea how to work computer systems.
One hour wait for food in a less than half full restaurant.
Terrible! Shocking! Very poor service.
Would not recommend at all.

I would have thought this review was self explanatory, and the fact we left our freshly minted membership cards on the table would have cemented that, but of course you reply with a robot generated response that smacks of "we don't care, but we have to look like we do" attitude.

Friendly staff, extensive menu list also with gluten free options. Service was slow waited over an hour for our meals, the acoustics in this large area make it hard to have a conversation if you want quieter outside would be an option. Price range is average. Kids love the pizzas and they supply a box to take uneaten portion home. Steak was cooked well, however I had a chewy rump, this can be hit and miss with any restaurant. Sweet potatoe chip option gets two thumbs up from me. Have kids play areas that looked clean and fun. Meal sizes are very generous. The bathrooms are very clean with a full length mirror, very helpful for the ladies
