I absolutely enjoyed my coffee experience at this small cafe. The owner is very knowledgeable and was very patient in explaining how each coffee bean tastes and the origin of the bean. I ordered the batch brew (syphon brew), it was very satisfying watching the coffee being brewed in front of me.
The coffee pairs well with a sea salt & leatherwood honey croissant.

One of the best coffee i ever had, tho it’s also the most expensive coffee i ever paid. $7.80 for small oat latte.
I am cafe manager and barista for a very long time, and i really enjoyed the coffee.
The vibe of the cafe very peaceful and calm.

Great place for specialty coffee. If you're looking for something different with a rotating roast for espresso on the menu, give Somewhere a go.

Brian is passionate about his coffee and his service and clearly wanting to know what his customers like.

The space is also bright, clean and minimalistic which is something I enjoy.

There are a number of coffee places in Hobart that's worth trying and Somewhere should be on your list.

Best coffee I have had in Hobart. Don’t think I can find any other cafes that serve syphon filter coffee in the city. Good collection of coffee beans, both sourced locally and from overseas. Will definitely go again when I next visit the city.
