The prettiest and most elegant wedding venue, with so much scenic variety for guests to enjoy. The house is magnificent and there are multiple areas to choose from for the ceremony and dinner and drinks – the pool is perfect for canapés and cocktails, the Garden Room for dinner, the Stables area for post-dinner drinks and dancing. The Guest House is a lovely space to spend the night before the wedding. Our guests were blown away by the presentation of the property and the transitions from the various parts of the wedding were whimsical and exciting. Somerley's class, elegance, variety, splendour and versatility set it apart. Thank you to the Somerley staff for helping make our day the best.

Such a beautiful property. We attended a wedding there and it was divine! Beautiful buildings and gardens are lush. So many areas where you can setup for an event, take photos etc. If you're a lover of all things green you will love the little hall building where the vines are growing through the windows!

Scenic and stunning property with multiple areas that you can visit when on site. Grounds appear to be maintained quite well and having a wedding here would be quite lovely. Overall atmosphere 9/10!

I am sad to write this review but feel it might be helpful for future couples.

We were married at Somerleys in March 24, We had a great wedding day and it is a beautiful venue however unfortunately the people running the venue made it really difficult and quite an unpleasant experience. The day was wonderful because we made it that way, along with other vendors, our Florist, photographer, caterer etc. who all stepped in to make up for the lack of venue management as the venue manager was not nice to us, not responsive and left the property before our ceremony and never came back.

I would be quite cautious when booking your wedding here, and assume that you are not going to get a good service, just a pretty venue.
I raised a list of feedback to the property owner, she said she would look into it and I never heard back with any acknowledgment of the service we experienced. I hope it gets better for future couples.

This fabulous three bedroom two bathrooms (massive) cottage is truely gorgeous. Although it has a rustic feel there's nothing old about the bathrooms and kitchen except for the sizes. This cottage is beautifully decorated with everything one could need for a perfect stay. The beds are luxuriously comfortable with crisp clean linen. The cottage is on an estate and is surrounded by beautiful gardens. There's even a horse that loves a carrot or two. We were there for a wedding and it couldn't have been more perfect. So much so that we are going back just to stay the weekend and chill. Also on the estate is a wedding venue which was sensational. The owner has a great eye for detail so the whole garden looked like a wonderland. Just perfect!!

Beautiful venue with multiple areas and great locations for photography and videography. Was there yesterday for a friend's wedding and the grounds were fantastic. Ambience is great whether sunny or wet weather. The only downside would be the in-house DJ. Bring a band or DJ.

I love the beautiful grounds and ambience of Somerley House. There seems to be lots of work being done to improve an already excellent spot. The team there show great attention to the little things. Well done.
