We visited Soak Alexandria twice in its opening two weeks. The first visit (an early bird weekday morning) was incredible. Calm, relaxing and relatively quiet. There were only around 8 other people in the entire complex - sharing a warm pool, hot pool, cold plunge, sauna and steam room.

The second visit was during the weekday also, but in the late morning. There were around 15 other people. It was noticeably louder and less calm, but not impossible to tolerate.

If you're looking for a quiet, isolated soaking experience then Soak is not the place for you - and they make this clear upon booking. It is a public bathhouse after all that encourages conversation and laughter. A good concept, if not for the enclosed space.

Is it worth the money? Yes. But in my opinion, only if you come during early bird sessions when it is quieter and cheaper.

The facilities are great. There are lockers and unisex showers. They do their best to keep the bathhouse clean and dry with ample staff always working. There's also complimentary tea which is a nice touch. But at $60 a soak, coming during busier periods is simply not worth it.

Great location, modern building and architecture. The Soak is easy to find and encompasses a beautiful open space with greenery and a friendly atmosphere - 3 magnesium enriched pools, steam room and Swedish sauna. Elegant change rooms, complimentary towel, hot teas and water from the tap. The bathing suit dryers are very handy too. Overall a super relaxing and rejuvenating experience - highly recommend!

I have been eying to go to the sister venues but luckily this one closer oped up.
My expectation was different and only my opinion. Staff on greeting wonderful.
Unisex change/ shower area 👎.
Not enough place to put bags down and to sit down and take off shoes.
I had a 9:45 time slot on Sunday was super chaotic.
The 2 pools were great ! However the amount of people in the place and the noise from people chatting and the echo was far from relaxing.
Cold plunge pool , ice cold not my cup of tea.
I wanted a relaxing soak .. without all the noise.
The steam /sauna rooms all huge 👏
All clean. All in all a great idea maybe as its new everyone wants to go, wait till the hype dies a little. Pick your time , perhaps during working hrs may be better. Maybe controlling the numbers .Will i go back, i doubt it.

Great experience. Everything is clean, great decor and a relaxing experience despite being ‘un-spa’ like. Staff were really welcoming and friendly. The only thing g that would have made it better was being there with a bunch of friends. Only thing to consider is parking; painful to to find a park so if you live close enough I’d recommend cycling/walking or public transport.

I went to Soak this morning during off-peak hours and absolutely loved it. I started in the magnesium pool, then moved through the sauna, ice bath, steam room, and infrared. It was the perfect circuit to ease tired muscles and reset. The space was quiet, serene, and incredibly calming. Highly recommend if you’re looking for some proper recovery and relaxation.

Booked online for a massage and soak. Massage was relaxing, great way to unwind before enjoying the large baths,
Cold plunge and sauna. Later in the evening wasn’t too crowded, everyone was friendly… good vibe. Pretty bougie, amenities clean, customer service on point❤️

Beautiful bathhouse with everything you could want - multiple warm baths, cold bath, steam room, sauna and treatments. Only negative is it’s so loud!! Lots of people in the session I booked and it was anything but relaxing. Wouldnt hurt to take a leaf out of other bathhouses services and include a quiet session, for those of us wanting to actually relax and not feel like we’re in a club x
