Excellent.

Cute homely place that works equally well as a brunch spot or a dining experience.

Service is good and watching the chefs neatly assemble the dishes is half the fun.

Menu is constantly changing but always has that Korean influence. My personal highlight has been the Pork Jowl. So tasty!

On the pricey side but certainly worth it for the invention, flavours, theatre and ambience.

I’ve been to Snug plenty of times, and I still love sitting in front of the chefs to watch them create and assemble such beautiful dishes.

It’s always a delight to come in, smell the grilled prawns for my favorite prawn omurice, and enjoy a great coffee. The staff are fantastic—they always have a smile on their faces, even when it’s super busy.

That said, it can be difficult to find a parking spot, and seating is limited, so if it’s busy, there might be a bit of a wait. Still, it’s absolutely worth it—highly recommend!

This is such a wonderful addition to the area. Snug offers a unique dining experience. You can stop by for brunch, coffee, or drinks and a light dinner. It is a beautiful environment with attention to detail, and so clean. The staff work quietly to prepare meals in front of you. I have enjoyed every dining experience here. I highly recommend Snug. You will be pleasantly surprised with this unique gem.

Snug has a trendy vibe, but with a busy crowd and tight seating, it’s best to go early to avoid the heat and congestion. While the menu has interesting options, it leans on the expensive side for what you get. Drinks were a letdown—the coffee and hojicha latte were both milky and average

🫚 Scrambled egg drop milk bread - was flavourful but had an odd balance—the filling sat mostly on the top half, leaving the bottom half feeling like plain toast. It also got quite heavy after a while.

🫚 Prawn omurice - had a nice, soft egg, but the rice itself was undercooked and bland.

🫚 Korean Chewy Noodles - had a gingery kick but refreshing however there wasn't much to it

Amazing local restaurant. Have to wait for about 30 minutes for a Sunday brunch but says how popular this place is. We got the best seat in the house view looking out the large open window with our back inside the restaurant cool by the a/c. Parking is limited but there is street parking behind the restaurant in the next street. Highly recommended place for something different.

This is a Dinner review Google searchers.

Fine dining levels of finesse, seasoning and balancing of flavours. Mixed with a very unpretentious atmosphere and genuinely lovely staff.

Really well put together menu and paired wine list - all affordable and approachable.

Not a foot wrong across all the dishes and desert we devoured. The clam butter sauce I would happily steal from a randoms bowl and take home with me to make pasta for a midnight snack.

Excellent date night spot, casual drink or cheeky light dinner for 1.

The drinks and food were so good! Especially espresso👍
It would’ve been nice if they served a folk for the prawn omurice. The prawn was big and hard to make a pice with only spoon. I could ask but they looked so busy and didn’t want to bother them so much because I waited some time to order already.
Everything was fine but my point of view, the table and seat looked uncomfortable. Either you have to face on the wall or open kitchen.
However, still would like to come back.

📍Snug, Coorparoo
This has been on my list forever and finally got the time to visit.
It was packed when we visited it early in the morning around 1030 on Sunday!!!! We waited for 15 mins and the staffs were really friendly and helpful as well.
The interior setting is a bit different than we thought but it’s still very cozy. They are like side bar tables and we can enjoy the view of how the delicious cuisines are made.
The three of us decided to order their signature
- prawn omurice $28
I also order the hojitcha latte $6.5
which I would highly recommend to everyone. It’s really rich and delicious.

The prawn was freshly cooked and really goes well with the omurice and lemon tsuyu.
