Haven’t stayed here so can’t comment on the accommodation - this review is only for the bar, which offers expansive views over the Smiggins area of the resort. Easy to keep an eye on everyone as all the lifts and ski runs return to the same general area. Fireworks show a couple of times a week in snow seasons and drinks at reasonable prices make it a spot worth having a beer at when you’re down.

We had our first experience as a family of 4 here for 5 nights. This has honestly been the best holiday we have ever had! The customer service was fantastic. We felt so comfortable and relaxed. Kids club every night where the staff take the kids to dinner for you and then to kids club, every night! While parents got to enjoy a 5 star 3 course meal and drinks at the restaurant which is included in the price. OMG THE FOOD WAS EXCEPTIONAL. The thought of coming back to reality is devastating!!! We have already booked again for the same time next year and this will be our favourite yearly holiday ? can't wait again for next year. Thank you to all the staff at reception who treated us like royalty, the cleaning staff who serviced our room daily, and the food and beverage staff (special thanks to the lovely head waitress at the restaurant in the evenings) wow.

We had an amazing 4 nights at Smiggins Hotel and Chalet Apartments. You just can’t beat this property for the location, amenities, fabulous food and friendly, welcoming staff. Everything runs like clockwork, thanks to Belinda and her talented team. Grab your gear from the lockers, pop your younger children in the kids club for the day, ski straight out on the Smiggins slopes and away you go. Meet up at the cosy lounge bar by the open fire for apres cocktails before treating yourself to a delicious dinner, followed by an in-house magic show, fireworks display or some quality live music. Most of the people you meet are repeat guests for good reason. Ski holidays with family and friends can be logistically complicated, but Smiggins Hotel makes everything easy so you can relax and enjoy yourselves. 10 out of 10!

This is a perfect place for kids & parents to enjoy the winter on snow.
The snow is at the doorstep,
There are small variety shops just downstairs, if you forget some warm clothes
Small canteen for lunch, good enough food options.
The lifts are at the doorstop. If you can ski.
Or worst case scenario, you can just play outside the hotel in the snow.

When kids are tired, they can go back to the room.. and they can go back on snow when they want.
We played in snow till dark, as there was enough light outside

The kids' club is fantastic. Once kids' dinner is done, parents can chill out and enjoy drinks till 8-9pm.

We have been there twice, and it's been an enjoyable stay.

Best time ever! This was our second year at Smiggins, and we absolutely loved our stay (again). The staff, food and rooms are all amazing. Can't believe how quickly 5 days goes! Thanks for a lovely stay.

OMG Smiggins was magical. Great service from all the staff, the rooms were old but nice and clean. The bar and food were awesome. There was a kids club and perisher ski school downstairs. Great location. Will definitely be back

Love this place. We've been coming here for few times now.
Love that its close to the lift, and when there is not enough snow, there is free shuttle to perisher village
There is breakfast available and lunch is available at Smiggs Diggs with good enough options.
Dinner and bar is great.. with lots of reasonable priced menu. While the kids club keeps kids busy so adults can enjoy dinner & drinks in peace.
Wifi is available, but slow.
Rooms are a bit outdated but functional

Not sure about the hotel but the bar and food area has the worst service although the staff are nice, they are totally overrun with not enough staff and the food is sitting there but only schools can buy until 12pm. It's a place run for the convenience of the owner, not customers.
