This cafe has a very cute atmosphere and a range of seating, would definitely recommend eating in! Food was mediocre, coffee was okay, not that strong though.

It would be good if this cafe standardised its offerings and really considered its clients. On two seperate occasions I ordered an iced latte and received two different versions. For my kids I asked for a warm hot chocolate in a takeaway cup, for grip, and received two very nice drinks in slippery tumblers. I had also requested two toasties and one came out and the server realised her mistake.
Coffee and drinks were nice, service as such was good and the courtyard setting is very pleasant.

Turkist eggs were just.. ok . Needed more to make complete .Coconut Granola bowl was very dry and tasteless and not much thought gone into it , needed more yogart and more fruit . Coffee was good .

Slingtown espresso, new castle. Another lovely coffee in newcaste. Equip with la marzocco linea classic new version, mazzer kony, robur and major. Coffee roaster under the same brand. Brew method available espresso. Nice presentation on the ice latte

Great coffee. Very simple menu but everything I've had here has been good. Enjoyed a coffee and bagel and enjoyed doing a little bit of work whilst relaxing in the outdoor setting.

I came to slingtown espresso to grab my TooGoodToGo bag and was faced with rude lady who was not happy to help me and made me feel like an inconvenience.

I go over to one of the younger workers to say I was picking up the order, she was confused not knowing what I wanted. As she has asked the senior staff on the til what I was asking for she dismissed both of us and told her to give me a box. I was happy with whatever as I am aware it’s a lucky dip purchase but as I’m leaving I open the box and one of the croissants had a bite taken out of it. As I go to let them know she ignores me and continues to count her till. The younger lady was so lovely apologised and offered two pieces of chocolate cake.

I felt pretty upset leaving this afternoon and definitely will not be back.

Great coffee and food spot. Eat in or out, and dog friendly tables available. Food is fresh and tasty, staff are friendly and super helpful.
