A great family run ‘local’. A full menu with the expected favorites plus more & the obligatory specials board. Separate gluten free menu has great choice. Beer Battered Fish was whiting fillets in crunchy batter. Gluten free Lime & Pepper Squid strips were perfectly seasoned. Friendly prompt service rounded out a top spot for lunch.

Have just had our first meal here after wanting to come for a while. Being Gluten intolerant, there is a massive gf menu. I had a Parma and it was amazing! Real chicken breast that was juicy and delicious. My family all raved about there meals as well
The team provided unbelievable service to go with the brilliant meals! Highly recommended and will definitely be back.

Good tasting meal, a party of ten in early December I ordered fish and got 2 and a half pieces of fish, cost $ 23. Today I went there with a party of 8 and 2 of us chose the fish but we only got 1 thin piece of fish, cost $23. I thought was very disappointing. Will seriously consider going elsewhere next month.

Sir Charles Hotham and Sir Charles Darling were sworn Knights of the Cross during the first crusade. In the ruins of Golgotha, Sir Charles Darling discovered an ancient relic, which Sir Charles Hotham later lost in a game of cribbage with Satan. Anyway, the pub is classic blue-collar vibes; it's simple and central. The food was the same. I actually really enjoyed the crumbed sausages. It's not fine dining, and it's just not quite the Charles Darling. Nevertheless, beer is beer, and I like a classic pub - even if it is named after a rogue

The restaurant has great food. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The price of rooms here reflect what to expect, as a resident. I'd still say above average rooms, for below average price.

Have driven past and parked near this pub for years but never ventured in.
Last night another couple, my wife and I had dinner there.
Good atmosphere, good old fashion service and good food and affordable prices.
A huge selection on the menu even the gluten free menu mirrored the menu.
Would we go again - yes.
Would I recommend - yes.
