Nice place to stay, unsure how I feel about the $100 deposit rather than just a secure credit card but that's how they look after the room security. Take your own milk as there is only enough to make one coffee only replaced sparingly, no big deal though, we will stay again, nice staff too and free barista coffee at reception in the morning.

The room is clean. Air conditioning is good enough either hot or cool. They cleanup our room every day.
Location: perfectly located in the heart of Chatswood. Can’t even hear any noise from the Metro / Train.
Highly recommend this place and they got a complimentary coffee everyday in the morning. But please check the timing and seems some days may not serve this.
Don’t think free things are bad. The coffee got quality!!!

I like this pleasant and rather Asian neighbourhood of Chatswood. 3 parks within 15 mins walk too.

Hit and miss service levels, sometimes with a scowl and other times very pleasant.

Free coffee for guests in the morning. Breakfast at nearby cafes is good too.

Our first time staying here, helpful, friendly staff, we booked a 2Bdm apartment which was huge, clean & quiet, small balcony with a great active view of busy Chatswood. Close to shops, cafes, transport.
Highly recommended staying at Silkari, would definitely stay again.

I had the pleasure of staying at Silkari suites, and I can't recommend it highly enough. The warm and professional staff made check-in a breeze. The rooms were beautifully designed, impeccably clean, and equipped with all the modern amenities I could ask for. The bed was incredibly comfortable, which gave me the best night's sleep ever.

The location is perfect, with easy access to nearby shopping malls, restaurants and Chatswood train station. I also appreciated the attention to detail, from the high-quality toiletries to the well-stocked kitchen.

Overall, Silkari Suites provided an exceptional experience that made my stay truly memorable. I look forward to returning on my next visit to the area. Five stars, without a doubt!

Pros -
Chatswood is an awesome place to base yourself. Yummy food, near the train station into the city and loads of shopping options. Reasonable rates. Free barista coffee in the lobby (check times). $25 parking. Room was clean (though this time a bin was forgotten about from the last guest. Rectified immediately)

Cons -
Curtains: The hotel doesn't believe in dark rooms. Lack of proper curtains and frosted doors means light comes streaming in very early making it hard to sleep in beyond 6am. The living room has a sheer curtain which does nothing.

Aircon: Each time I've stayed I've not felt overly comfortable during sleep. Thought this may have been the particular room I was in but after 3+ stays, I think it's every room. Aircon seems to be preset and guests are unable to adjust fan speed or temperature. Main bedroom felt very warm overnight and this has been the case each time.

Edited after hotel response - Considering a bedroom has a frosted door, the sheer curtain does affect the light in the room. In the main room, it's near impossible to pull the curtain all the across letting light stream in. As for the aircon I tried multiple times to decrease temperature and increase fan speed and it kept reverting back to the preset temperature.

Concierge staff were great, awesome location considering metro takes you into the city centre very quickly.
One negative, the barista was rude. If my wife asks if you have milk alternatives, a blunt no is poor manners.
Customer service would say, sorry we only have dairy milk.
But I won’t like one persons lack of matters undo the efforts from the hotel team.
You deserve the 5 stars

It’s a very nice family room (a master bedroom with a twin bed in a different room); super convenient location, close to metro, markets, shopping malls and tons of restaurants.
