Jen, Corrine and the team at Silkari were incredibly helpful, kind, hospitable and were the highlights of our time in Port Douglas. We experienced car troubles and the team looked after us so well. The rooms were great, well maintained and the resort was a lot of fun. Will definitely look forward to be back in port Douglas. We were in a three bedroom swim out apartment. I strongly recommend the apartment as it had everything we needed and wanted. Thanks again for a great stay!

We were after a holiday where we did nothing but swim and relax by the pool. Having previously stayed 8 years ago we decided to return. Our 3 bedroom swim out was exactly what we wanted. |Luckily for us we had great weather for the week. The swim out room was great for your own pool furniture and not having to use communal space. ||The rooms are a little out dated, smell of mould in bathrooms, shower head was on its last legs, fans in bathrooms didn’t work, and last guests underwear left in corner of bedroom and dryer. |The pool was tested daily but a build up of hair, bugs and dirt floating in the pool became a bit yuk. |We found using an uber to get in and out of town was cheaper for the family than the shuttle. We were quoted $14 return pp to use shuttle. ||Using the cooking facilities are at your own risk because if you burn anything and set off the smoke alarms the fire brigade will come at your expense. A BBQ area is supplied to prevent this.

Clean, spacious swim up apartment. Our accommodation had everything you would need, cooker, microwave, washing machine and dryer. Quiet accommodation with a short drive up to the main port Douglas town. Four mile Beach was a five minute walk from the apartment. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend.

We stayed in a 2 bed swim up apartment. To be honest it was really more of a 3 bed as we had 2 interconnecting apartments. It was perfect being able to swim out as it meant the kids could swim as and when they wanted without packing pool bags etc. we had everything we needed including 3 tvs and a full size washing machine and tumble dryer. Plus full kitchen with dishwasher. If you are going for a large apartment and swim out, this is a fab option. I don’t know what the smaller rooms were like. We had a car so were happy to be out of town slightly and there was tons of parking. The Beach Shack nearby was gorgeous for breakfast

Spent 2 nights, resort had little to offer us as a family of 5 with 14, 12 & 10 year old children aside from the pool, which was heated even in summer. Made it feel like soup. We weren't made aware of this until after we had checked in.
Rooms smelt of mould, and all the air conditioning leaked.
