I cannot recommend Sherwood Reception enough!
Our wedding reception here, which was couple of weeks ago, was absolutely perfect, and it’s all thanks to Sam & his incredible team.
From start to finish, they went above and beyond to make our night unforgettable.

The food was simply phenomenal!
Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how delicious everything was!
The service was impeccable, with staff who were attentive, professional, and kind.
I felt so well taken care of. The team checked in with me & my wife throughout the night to ensure everything was running smoothly and that I was happy.

We had an absolutely amazing experience on our wedding day at Sherwood Reception. A beautiful venue surrounded with lovely gardens. The staff members and Sam have been so helpful and caring all throughout. Sam made sure everything went perfectly smooth, everyone was happy and even had special organic vegan food options available. My wife Sara and I looked all over Melbourne for a place to host our wedding and Sherwood Reception was an absolute godsend. Reasonably priced and beautiful.

From the very beginning, Sam was incredibly friendly and welcoming - answering all our questions and setting up taste tests and helping with the seating plans.

Mary’s food was amazing and everyone was delighted with the lamb shanks and chicken parmigiana. The entrees were also delicious and everyone was impressed with the amount of food served.

Elsy and Jessica were our little helpers and were involved with nearly everything on the day. They made sure my wife and I wanted for nothing, and helped finalise and fix so many last minute mishaps.

The reception itself was beautiful. The inside had a beautiful rustic elegance to it and was lit up with a hundreds of little lights that set the soft romantic ambience we wanted.

All in all, we absolutely recommend Sherwood Reception for any couple looking to host their wedding here - and once again, a big thank you from Sara and I!

❣️Where do we start, the venue in its self is so beautiful, but please read on❣️

The courtyard was a beautiful setting for our ceremony in front of the pretty arbor and the lovely gardens.
We wanted a large dance floor as we wanted to do ballroom dancing, this venue did not let us down.

We have nothing but appreciation for the 'Sherwood Team' ❣️

To Sam, from our very first meeting you never ceased to amaze us how caring and helpful you are. Nothing ever seemed to be too much trouble for you, no matter how busy you were with other bookings. Thank you for all the work you did for us preparing for our wedding. Your time and effort was appreciated more than you could know. You always went way beyond for us even to the point of sourcing out Navy Blue cloth napkins for our wedding when white would have been good enough 🤗

To Mary, (our chef) we had the most beautiful menu and you gave us absolutely delicious food from start to finish 😋 Our guests were all so impressed with every dish that came out of your kitchen. We needed another 100 guests to eat everything, there was so much food. As you said, better to have too much than not enough. Thank you for everything you did for us, we appreciate all your hard work very much❣️

To Grace, your such a beautiful soul❣️ Thank you for all the hard work you did for us throughout the day and night. You went way beyond what was expected of you and I can't thank you enough personally for your care and support of me. The night ran so smoothly and we know that's because of your care and dedication ❤️

To Elsy and the other team members, none of you have been forgotten. You're all wonderful and we appreciate all the work you all put in to make our wedding so special and memorable❣️

When we left our wedding on Saturday night, we felt like we were leaving our family; Sam, Grace, Mary, Elsy and the other staff members who I've forgotten their names.

Our Wedding exceeded all of our expectations, everyone had a ball❣️We all enjoyed everything and danced our feet off on the beautiful large dance floor.

I recently hosted a party at Sherwood, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From start to finish, the staff was professional, accommodating, and eager to ensure everything ran smoothly. Especially Sam, his an absolute gem.

The venue itself is stunning; The ambiance created the perfect setting for our event, and our guests were truly impressed.

The food was exceptional and the service was top-notch.

Parking was convenient, and the location was easy to access for all our guests. The event coordinators went above and beyond to accommodate our requests and made planning stress-free.

Overall, Sherwood exceeded our expectations, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a beautiful, well-managed venue with fantastic food for their next event. We will definitely be returning for future occasions
