This was a great motel - really happy we stumbled across it.||Literally 30 seconds across the road from the beach, lovely balcony, loads of space for parking, a garden area, friendly reception and a guest laundry to use on a pay per wash basis.||Room itself was spacious and clean, with the best provisioned kitchenette of our enture time along the coast, separate sitting area and tv. Good shower too.||We liked it so much we extended...and would have extended even further if they'd not been full!

We had a fabulous 1 night stay with our 2 small dogs as we were passing through the area for work purposes! Right across the road from the beach plus watched a magnificent sunset. It's a hotel guys & gals ... you get what you pay for! The room was very clean, the beds comfy and it allows your pets. Kirsty was excellent, so polite and friendly.

Very grateful to the incredible staff and owners at Shelley Beach Motel who assisted us in a pinch. Would highly recommend staying and we look forward to staying here in the future. Right across from the beach, you couldn't ask for more - definitely book directly as the team are wonderful and always look after you! Rooms were well serviced and fantastic location, with off street parking and straight across the beach! Only a short walk to excellent restaurants with plenty of well lit pathways and electric scooters if you wish. Host was wonderful and welcoming...wish we had stayed longer and will definitely be back! Thank you 😊

Stayed in a dog friendly room and really enjoyed our stay. Room was very clean and comfortable. It even had a full size fridge and microwave. The location is truly dog friendly and the motel has ocean views. There is miles of wonderful walking on the esplanade or beach right outside. It's a great base to explore the district.

Perfect for our 3 day stay. This is not a luxury motel but so much better than a normal standard motel room. Located straight across the road from the beach and the lovely esplanade boardwalk and parks. Room included full size fridge, crockery, cutlery, fry pan, microwave, long bench suitable as desk, ironing board, iron and hairdryer, 2 comfortable lounge chairs with coffee table. Hosts were very friendly and helpful.
