We had a relaxing 3 night stay recently at Shelley Bar resort recently. The location is perfect, a lovely coffee shop within 2 minutes walking distance. The bay is perfect for a swim out front or the pool is clean. Car parking was secure undercover. The unit was clean, modern & our stay was made so much better by the on site staff. We will definately return soon.

What a wonderful resort right in the heart of Torquay Hervey Bay. Right across the beach and walking distance to everywhere we desired. The experience was second to none from the phone call to initially book till check out time. Dean and his team were very friendly professional and nothing was too much trouble. The room was very modern, clean and comfortable with beautiful furnishings and a fabulous view even from lower level. The indian restaurant located at the resort was delicious with impeccable service. We have found our new holiday destination. Recommend for everyone. We will be back for sure . Thankyou Dean.

This place is in the best location, staff are very helpful and friendly. Our room was on the second floor and had everything we needed and was perfect. The view on the patio was amazing. So close to cafes and restaurants. Town is only a short car drive away, and Harvey Bay has everything you could ever need. We enjoyed ourselves so much we didn't want to leave. And the Indian restaurant smelt amazing. Oh and the undercover carpark was high enough so we could park our 4×4 in there. We will definitely be back.

Very clean, well appointed room with a nice view of the pool and ocean from our second level room.
We would have liked to stay longer.
Great location for whale watching trips, bike riding, across the road from the beach and near to many restaurants.

Our apartment (number 7) was just perfect for our week stay in Hervey Bay. It had everything we needed, and the balcony had the sun for most of the day and a view of the beautiful beach opposite. It was lovely to sit out there and have breakfast in the winter sun. The bed was very comfortable, the kitchen well equipped and it was handy having a washing machine and dryer in the bathroom. Would recommend!

What a wonderful night stay wish we had stayed longer, our apartment was well equipped and updated super clean and a fabulous view, the pool was warm, under cover parking a bonus we would have loved to have had time to enjoy all the facilities tennis court, bbq . Close to restaurants and cafes and right opposite the beach we would definitely stay again

We are frequently visiting Hervey Bay looking for our forever home while we usually stay at the Mantra we decided on different accommodation this time staying at shelly Bay Resort for 7 nights from 5th November 2024 location & water front views was awesome from unit 16 kitchen was well equipped with everything you need the only 2 things i can fault was the exhaust fan in the bathroom/ toilet didn't work & the beach towel hire for the pool which should be complimentary.

Shelly Bay Resort was our base for our trips to K'Gari and Lady Elliot Island. Because of these trips our accommodation requirements were not straightforward. Huge thanks to Andrew for being so helpful and for accommodating our needs. Thoroughly recommend you contact the resort directly rather than going through a third party provider. Andrew was also very knowledgeable about Lady Elliot Island and gave us some good tips. The rest of the team were also very helpful. Appreciated the texts to say our room was ready before check in time. |The room was great. We were a family of four and there were two bedrooms and a kitchenette/living area. Plenty of space and a nice view over Hervey Bay. Was very reasonably priced. Had a couple of meals at a lovely new restaurant next door. Would happily stay again.
