First time coming here and a few of the ladies there were actually really nice, I wanted to get a simple nail design on my nails trying gel for the first time. The Second Lady who actually did the nail design on my nails didn’t really seem to know what she was doing. Which is understandable some designs may be hard. But I would have preferred her to say that she didn’t feel comfortable with doing the design and get someone else to do it. Or for what I was given at least have some sort of discount for it as paying $55 for a set of gels and the nail art that really wasn’t the best in my opinion. And upon paying the lady left the efpos machine on the counter while i transferred over some money then I tapped and paid and she came back and said “are you done?” And I said I was and she then proceeded to put the price amount back in and I stopped her and told her I’ve already tapped it and that I’ve paid already. And she said “no you didn’t because I didn’t put anything through. No recipt came out.” And she said it in a real angry, kinda defensive tone. And I tried to reassure her that I really did pay but she didn’t believe me until I showed her, she didn’t really have good customer service as when I went to leave I was the one that said “thankyou, goodbye have a good Christmas.” And I just got a simple “yeah yeah, you too.” With a gesture off a hand that was basically “shoo”. Some of the ladies there especially the ones that greeted me absolutely amazing but I have never been spoken to which such disrespect especially after paying for the service that I simply believe was too overpriced for what I got.

Hello!! I’m bad for an update and it isn’t good, taking the gel polish off to do a new set and found out that the first coat of gel that they did wasn’t even cured fully. Which could cause serious infections in the nail. 😬

I had a fantastic experience at Shell Nails! The staff were friendly, professional, and detail-oriented. The salon was clean and relaxing, and my gel manicure turned out perfect. They had a great colour selection and made me feel pampered throughout. Highly recommend for stunning nails and great service!

Had my nails done the next day the acrylic started lifting away from my own nails. I called up they told me to come back I went back to get them fixed. I told the lady what was wrong. She didn’t seem impressed. Spent most of the time in silence. Walked out again this time my nails are different lengths different shapes. My nails are curved over making look like I have claws 🙁 the thickness of the acrylic is thicker in the middle of my nails making them have a hump. Under my nails have not been filled making them very rough and catching on everything.

Would recommend to avoid this place if looking for acrylic removals. I had gotten my acrylics taken off the other week and they didn’t even remove all of the acrylic and left my nails very damaged and weak especially after they nicked my skin (ignored when i said ouch). Seemed very careless with their services and definitely not going back.

Terrible would not recommend going here all my nails are messed up i paid $70 for a basic black acrylic nails the manager is rude and should not work here
