What an amazing B&B! We just spent 2 nights in heaven! It's right on the lake with views from every window. So serene and private. It's so private that we didn't need to close the blinds at all even at night! We fed ducks out of our hands this morning as they wandered up to the fence. Yesterday a pelican was checking us out! Leah and Dee, our hosts, have really set this place up beautifully. They haven't forgotten a thing! A choice of 2 options for breakfast and so many items stocked in the pantry and fridge. Recently renovated too and with kayaks and fishing equipment to use plus more! We've stayed in lots of B&Bs around the world and for this type of B&B it rates as No. 1 for us. Thank you so much for the wonderful relaxing stay. We'll be back!

This is an excellent getaway for a few days with outstanding views across the lake. Leah and Dee where exceptional hosts providing all those little things that are needed to make the stay really enjoyable.

Stayed in BnB and apartments all over Australia and around the world and have NEVER come across anything quite as wonderful as Serenity by the Lake.Who would have known the very best was so close to home. Everything conceivable is supplied by Leah...enough for breakfasts and lunches if you want to eat in plus a great cheese platter and bottle of very good sparkling wine!. A well stocked pantry removes the need to bring the usual bit and pieces. Terrific kitchen utensils and sharp knives make food preparation super easy. The studio is more like a one bedroom house and is very tastefully fitted out with an outstanding view.. The kayaks were used continuously as were the comfy chairs outside next to the water. Fantastic sunrises and sunsets made for an all round wonderful short break. We will be back for sure...The only negative I can think of are the stairs down to the studio, but I thought of them as a bit of extra exercise! Five star++

There is literally so many nice things to say about Serenity by the Lake and the lovely hosts! Everything was so perfect, location, peace, food, layout, host communication...a thorough list will not fit all the positives. I literally felt like we were staying in a 5 star hotel but without the crowds. Serenity was clean, neat and well thought out and well stocked, even the knives were sharp, all the appliances and utensils were 1st class and decor was thoughtfully placed. If you like the sounds of the above and the pics, I highly recommend a stay, short or long. We were even lucky enough to have swirled our feet over the edge of the private jetty under the starry night sky to discover the lake light up where we splashed from a bio-luminescent algae or plankton. I only wish I dove into the water to experience it, but so amazing to see in real life we felt like little kids splashing our hands and feet in the water to see the pretty lights.

All in all, our stay at Serenity was the most wholesome getaway experience ever, thank you and I definitely want to come back and will certainly recommend to friends, family or anyone.

Serenity by the Lake is the holiday you deserve. Check out the beautiful views from the top deck, then descend the few flights of stairs to your perfect waters edge bnb.
Your amazing hosts Leah and Dee, provide you with all that you’ll need. We selected the Country breakfast, which included the usual; bacon, eggs, hash browns and so on. There is also a muesli option with fresh fruits and yogurt. They’ve thought of everything, from the Nespresso coffee machine to the canoe kayaks and paddle boards for you to take for a spin. This is our second time visiting, and everything was just as perfect as the first visit. We also loved the daily visits from the cutest duck family, you absolutely have to feed them their pellets. They’ll love you for it!

What a wonderful place to stay! Such a beautiful outlook, you cant help but relax in the well appointed accommodation. The provisions and equipment provided are excellent, the hosts have put a lot of thought into their Guests being well catered for and comfortable, look forward to returning for a longer stay.

What a wonderful place! It is accessed through a side entrance off the main property, but it's a few flights of stairs to the bottom and very private. The view over the lake from the balcony up top is amazing and changes at different times of the day depending on how the light falls. Appreciated the lovely welcoming touches like chocolates & champagne. We walked out to the end of the jetty to say hello to the cormorant who likes to keep an eye on the place from his perch and the views were 360 degrees.

The breakfast provisions were generous, the kitchen well stocked with all the mod cons & luxe touches like coffee syrups, whimsical his & her mugs, and sets of crockery all following the same nautical blue theme. There were thoughtful inclusions in the pantry to ensure you lacked for nothing, including 2 rows of spices (this by itself was impressive), condiments, cooking sauces *from a range of cuisines*, crackers, baked beans, pasta, rice, even baskets of potatoes & onions.

Bathroom supplies were exceptional, from the nice toiletries to the drawer with all the things we usually forget to bring - toothbrush, sanitary products, makeup remover. The only thing I would add to it is possibly dental floss, but this drawer and that pantry are what lets you know the hosts are dead serious about catering to your every need.

Beautiful decor, very comfortable accommodation, really well designed layout and use of space. There's a comfy couch with cushions & blankets and Netflix. There's a washer and dryer. Fishing gear & kayaks. A firepit outside and marshmallows in the pantry. Duck food in bags by the door, which we discovered when we had little guests.

We eyed off the kayaks and the island across from the jetty, but we didn't make it onto the water - maybe next time.

Absolutely perfect little getaway. Really glad we came here instead of a hotel. Leah & Dee have thought of everything.
