Wasn't expecting much from this place, but it has been a few days since coming here and as suspected my muscles are not sore- I have a bone bruise. I had direct impact against my spinous process.

To clarify, there is one good masseuse, the other not good. My friend had a good experience- her masseuse spoke quietly, and asked frequently how the pressure was. I believe she is the usual masseuse for a 1:1 session. It's unlikeliest that I would have left a review if it were an average experience, or if I had the other masseuse, but this was my very poor experience with the masseuse I had.

My masseuse was also the one running the phones (she ran out to answer a call in the middle of my massage). This is ok, they are a small business with not much staff.
I requested constantly for it to be more gentle, and at one point, had to lift my head up to tell her that was enough. She would move on to a different area as soon as I said gentle please, so I was never sure if she heard me or not. What is strange about the inconsistent pressure throughout the hour was the fact that she almost told me off for not saying the pressure was too hard earlier in the massage. She had only started massaging me! She started using her elbows to, I assume, trace along the spine, but instead would go ON TO my spine. I haven't been able to lay on my back without a painful reminder of the worst massage I've had in my life.

The massage would vary from the left to the right side, with added or removed variations. She used a very rough rag to remove the oil off my body, while also using the rag to massage me and the other hand elbowing my glutes and hamstring at the same time. She had me upright and massaged my head with a knocking motion so hard and sudden, I was sure I could have bitten my tongue if it was out. She was also talking loudly in the beginning, asking questions like where I live, what background I am, which was a jarring experience and ruined the mood for a quiet massage.

All in all- if you're going to go for a massage by yourself, it's going to be decent eenough especially if it's not by the owner/receptionist. The place was clean and on a quiet road. I'm sorry to leave such a negative review.

My first time in this place. Was an amazing experience. The masseuse professional. The shop is very clean and good smell. For me I recommend a deep tissue massage.
