Seclusions was the perfect venue for our wedding, the day could not have gone any better for us or our guests. I had some experience working in wedding photography so I know that there are usually one or two things that don't go to plan and you just have to roll with it. This wasn't it, everything came together exactly the way we wanted it to and it was all because of the talented and professional vendors we had, especially the team here at Seclusions.

This venue has everything you could possibly want, a lot of other venues we visited also had a view and a great reception space, but none of them come with Russ & Malynda. As great as everything else was at Seclusions, Russ & Malynda (and their team) are what truly make Seclusions stand out from other venues.

At the start of the planning process, as it always is, it was a bit overwhelming with the number of things you have to organise. Russ & Malynda were there to guide us through it all. They were able to help with a list of recommended vendors. This is important, the recommended vendors know the venue pretty much inside out and have an awesome working relationship with Seclusions, so not only are they super talented, they also hit the ground running on set-up and pack-down.

On the day of the wedding, Russ & Malynda are everywhere behind the scenes. They were checking in to make sure we had everything we needed at the time, they were working with vendors to help them do their best work, Russ lets you know when it's go time, Malynda was even there with a sample of our canapés when we did photos with the bridal party post ceremony. If there was one thing that I wish was different, was that I wish we had some photos with them in the shot!

Weddings can be stressful at the best of times, but we truly had the perfect day. A massive part in how well everything ran was because of our vendors, the Seclusions team know what they are doing, when they ask for details, it's to help you have the best day possible.

If you are looking for a wedding venue in the blue mountains, it's hard to recommend another one if Seclusions is available. Yes, the view is amazing, the log cabins are the perfect amount of cozy, the highland cows are adorable, but what truly sets this venue apart is Russ & Malynda. They will work with you the whole way and make it perfect for you. Now I just need a friend of mine to also have their wedding at Seclusions so I can attend as a guest!

A phenomenal venue for a wedding! It was the first and only venue we check out as it had everything we dreamed of to host our wedding. It has this rustic elegance to it, with creative spaces/details around the whole venue which adds a new charm. The ceremony views are also breath taking. Our guests were raving at the venue, the gorgeous animals and our wedding party loved the cabins too. Malynda & Russel were great to work with and we're keen to come back for a cabin stay in the future to reminisce and celebrate our anniversary 🙂

Set in a quiet, secluded area with beautiful views, this is a great venue for a wedding as long as those involved do not mind a longish drive on dark narrow roads to the nearest accommodation. Food was excellent. The informal nature of the room & the outdoor areas also make this a good venue for children.

My husband and I got married at Seclusions in September 2023, and were so happy with our decision. Russ and Malynda were wonderful hosts. They are incredibly friendly, professional and experienced, and helped to guide us on various decisions in the lead up to our wedding day. They liaised with our vendors on the day, which made everything run smoothly and without worry. The property was beautifully maintained, and the views truly breath-taking which offered many perfect spots for photos. The storage room at the pavilion had many useful items to decorate the tables in reception and dance floor area to our liking. The cabins were clean and comfortable, and had all the items and facilities we needed to spend a few days away with our bridal party. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to get married.

We recently spent a few nights at Seclusions to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary, and we can not fault it, the property is stunning, it was beautiful to walk into our cabin with the gas fire already going, a beautiful scented candle burning and a cute little gift for us.

Malynda and Russ were absolutely lovely and we were able to do their Highlander Coo experience which was fantastic! We can not wait to return!

Seclusions, your venue, Malynda & Russ, and Narelle, you all made our wedding day go by with such ease. Seclusions had clear instructions for DIY, excellent storage decorations that we used for our tables, and the cabins were so beautiful our guests and we absolutely loved them. It was especially grand to have a bath as the end of the night!

We loved that Malynda and Russ were experienced in helping guide us in the right direction if we had questions or were unsure of anything. It was also great that they kept an eye out on the weather for us and kept us appropriately informed throughout the morning for any changes in wet weather plans. We had the best day!!
