Absolutely fantastic the staff were fantastic. I did meet them as I arrived late but it was so easy to get access to my keys. The room was amazing and the location was great. I will definitely be back. I was also a former Resort Manager and I was extremely happy and I have high standards.

If I could present this motel with a zero I would. Phoned and spoke to the receptionist to inquire about a "suitable" room for my 87 year old mother and myself. Advised that they had a suitable room and booked for 3 nights as my mother was relocating to Cairns with myself. In arrival at the room I found it to have 1 queen sized bed and no bed for the second person. When this was discussed I was advised this is the room I booked even despite advising that we needed a suitable room for mum and I.. there was no sorry to be given. I was advised that I had not stated I wanted two beds. when asking for a suitable room I did ask for 2 beds. I believe out of respect for my mother that this would have been fairly obvious. I was then told that there was nothing wrong as a 94 year old mother and daughter had shared that same bed and booked out that morning. This I also felt was not my business or to do with my situation. Being late in the afternoon my mother and I then had to find another room leaving the possibility of my mother having nowhere to sleep. Again no apology but was rudely told to stop being nasty. No consideration at all was given through the whole process. When I asked for my money to be returned I was advised they would charge an admin fee.. in my view this is one motel to avoid. I do not wish for others to be subjected to the same experience and feel that I needed to share.

This place is one of the worst apartments we have ever stayed in. All the furniture was terrible, there was no where to sit & relax, the lounge was so lumpy you couldn't sit on it. The dining room chairs were just as bad. The kitchen utensils were either broken or so old they were useless. The carpet is so old there is no underfelt & is in very bad condition. The front door was very hard to lock. For the amount of money we spent you would have thought the quality would have been better. Don't book room 501, this apartment should have been renovated 10 years ago.

Recently had a 4 night stay. We booked our stay directly (did not use any booking agent). There is substantial construction in the immediate vicinity at the moment which was not mentioned at time of booking. For the price our 1 bedroom apartment was disappointing. Kitchen has a large fridge/freezer, a reasonable amount of utensils, crockery etc. The ceramic hot plates weren't overly clean so we were reluctant to use them in case we damaged them. Bedroom was adequate, although the mattress sagged a little in the middle. The washing machine needed a good clean - inside the agitator there was substantial soap & lint build-up. No filter in the dryer.|Kitchen/dining/living area spacious enough. Also had a nice balcony with a small clothes line. The secure parking was good.

Unortunately this place was the only place we could stay for our business over the weekend.
Very uncomfortable.
Nowhere to sit in the room.
Was there for 2 nights with only a small portion of toilet paper..I was expecting the room to be cleaned daily.i had to buy more toilet paper.The spa wasn't that great..I have an inflatable one that works better..
Was told to park in the council park park for one night due to repainting..so the next night.there was no sign of any painting been done..
For what I paid for 2 nights, I probably would been more comfortable in my own car...

Just had 3 nights booked we stayed for 2 ,frayed old carpet,filthy lounge, bedroom door broken, safe broken could not store valuables, no blackout blinds unit was like daylight allnight, very noisy aircon at any speed, aircon unit on our landing for next door was loud ,shower over very high bath not good for people like us nearing 80,no handle to help you off a very low toilet, one dining chair was held together with 2 hinges ,barking dog in unit below.Room no 3081 not recommended wouldn't call it a beach resort.Bed was OK kitchen was OK parking good.
Won't be back.

If I could give zero stars I would.
My parents flew from Newcastle NSW and had a room booked for months but this hotel had works on the balcony completely closed off, with workers on the balcony swearing, playing loud music whilst us and a four year old where inside, with no privacy for the room at all.
They did not disclose this until my parents literally arrived off a plane and arrived at the hotel.
They had no other room’s available which completely ruined there holiday and time with my son whom they where visiting and still expected full payment for a ‘room’ which didn’t even have a view/balcony or privacy. No refund offered either as they did not want to ‘lose money’

Over priced and under delivered. I rate it as a 2-3 star accommodation. Paid $480 for 1 night to sleep in a bed that was many years old. No reception. Never again!
