I dined at Sault Restaurant and ordered the lamb shoulder, which, regrettably, did not meet expectations. The dish had an overwhelmingly unpleasant odor, to the point that I was unable to eat or properly taste it. Given the restaurant’s reputation and the quality I anticipated, this was quite disappointing. I hope the culinary team will review the preparation and sourcing of this dish to ensure it maintains the standards expected by your patrons.

My son and I come into Sault to grab a coffee before Sunday Mass. This Sunday gone, we stopped by at Sault for a coffee and Noah wanted some chips. Noah had two bowls. They were so yummy! Better than I expected. Sault gets a bit loud, but in all fairness it's a small cafe but the atmosphere is fantastic and the staff are polite and friendly, the main girl who makes coffees she certainly knows who drinks what!

When I and my friend were having our meals there, it wasn't many people in the cafe. The hospitality service is nice and on point, ordered and delivered to the table. The drinks looks fabulous, but the taste was okay, my coffee was quite average, and my friend's moca was bit watery taste, although it looks quite creamy, by that means it didn't taste the coco flavour much, only coffee and water tatse. The food we ordered the same from the menu, my friend had it with bacon, I had it with smoked salmon. The portion looks quite generous, the bacon well cooked. However, the bread wasn't quite fresh taste for me, it was quite dry and not very fresh taste, it was kinda of taste that like you put the bread in the fridge/freezer for quite a while. The egg and the sauce are quite nice. All in all, I gave the cafe 4stars, I hope they made progress in the points I mentioned. Cheers!

Delicious brunch experience. I had the Americana and every ingredient on the plate was cooked perfectly and with nuanced flavour. My partner had the halloumi lovers and the halloumi was perfectly cooked. Filling, tasty, and all within a comfortable atmosphere.

Great breakfast I had. Scrambled eggs,salmon,Bacon. Extremely yummy. Coffee pretty good,very friendly staff. Fast service. I'd go again.

Dec 2021. Sault Cafe is a great little cafe on main road Moonah. Serving all day brunch and lunch options. There are a handful of outdoor tables, but most are inside. They are usually very prompt on service, however upon our most recent visit, it took about an hour for food to arrive from ordering. They acknowledged the delay and our patience, but it was seriously out of character to what we've been used to over the years.

It was an absolutely stunning breakfast that we had. The toast from the egg benedict was perfectly toasted, puffy to the peak level, just perfect. The smashed avocado was great too, and mocha was presented beautifully in a glass, a bit sweeter than I expected though. Friendly staff, just a great place to start your day.
