What a gem! This place is so delightful. Two big cabinets of fresh, homemade Italian cakes and pastries. Plus they have shelves full of other delicious items.
Wish we had stopped by earlier so we could try more cakes but we will definitely return next time we’re in Hervey Bay.

Decided to pop in to treat myself after a busy morning at work, everything looked lovely but pricey. I chose an Italian style custard slice, the lady said that the one on display was for someone else but they had more out the back. So I agreed to buy one as a takeaway. After leaving the shop I discovered it was frozen!
I had to drive back and return it as I didn't want to spend $10 on a small frozen cake. They should of asked me if I wanted a frozen one. They freeze their produce and are not very helpful informing you of this.
Total waste of my lunch break
No apology offered just a shrug and said it's the same in ten minutes if you wait.
I would say fresh is different to frozen personally

While the seating space is small, and this can create a noisy atmosphere, the pastries and delicacies outweigh any of this inconvenience which becomes minor. The tortes, pastries and the croissants are hand made. The croissants closely resemble those in France, therefore the best in the bay for me. Good coffee and gelato are on offer, as well as excellent customer service. It is a gem.

What a cafe, coffee is excellent and the pastries are absolutely divine. This place is worth the drive. I have never had a bad experience.
The gelato ice cream is also delicious.
Right across the road from the beach, i cannot think of a better spot to have a coffee and pastry or ice cream

Delectable cakes and gelato, sublime chocolates, good coffee. Cafe-style seating inside and outside. It gets very busy so be prepared for a wait when ordering at the counter - worth it though.

Lovely warm service; delicious coffee, cakes and a berry shake! Very popular on a Sunday morning. Right on the esplanade so you can walk off the calories later on the sands. Their pizza restaurant is part of the same building. They also sell Italian gelati inside the cafe.

Had breakfast here and wow really felt like you were back in Italy. Kind of glad they aren't so close to home because I would be here EVERY DAY. Tried the ciambella with cream, cannoli and apple danish, all delicious!
