Hands down the best coffee in Blackheath. Beyond the exceptional coffee, this café offers delicious home-baked treats and a great selection of quality teas. But what truly sets it apart is the warm and welcoming atmosphere created by owners Christie & Jeremy, two of the friendliest people in town. Their passion for great coffee, amazing food, and top-notch service (all while playing seriously good tunes!) makes this spot a must-visit. Christie’s baking is outstanding—her carrot cake and sticky date are absolute standouts. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this place should be on your list!

Best coffee I had in a while, super generous and yummy toastie. All while sitting in the sun in their lovely terrace. A winning combo, my favorite breakfast place in Blackheath !

Funky, tattoos welcome here 💪. Good coffee, interesting menu and not expensive. Lots of light savoury breakfast options: eg. Spanish omelette croissant; egg, feta and herb danish.

It’s down a quirky little lane between buildings.

Such a cute little cafe! The hot choccy and homemade chai were delicious, and the blankets and heaters made the experience even cozier. The owners are super lovely too 🤍

Discovered this delightful quirky care when I was in Blackheath last week. I only had coffee and cake (chocolate and cherry vegan - was lovely and moist) which were both lovely so I'm keen for another visit for a more substantial meal. There was a sign saying something about family run and please be patient but I was served very quickly although it was a Wednesday so I imagine weekends would get quiet busy. Just remember, enjoy the experience, savour your time ...

Lovely indoor / outdoor cafe.
Great ☕️coffee, pleased they had Bonsoy Mylk for me ( not the other plant based soys with oils & sugar)
Both Soy and Regular coffees, perfect. Enjoyed a lovely Peanut Butter & Choc Chip slice, in a relaxed friendly atmosphere.

A delightful find for us after an early sunrise visit to nearby Evan’s lookout. Our joy at finding a local cafe open before 7 was elevated by the passion exuding from the owner, who served us warmed homemade baklava cake, sharing stories of his partners cooking adventures and inspirations as all food is baked fresh in house. Loved it, and I’m not a breakfast before 11 person. Themed with a gothic twist, fun tunes and great service, definitely recommend 🙂

Superb speciality coffee place, excellent toasties here too.

Had a very well made Flat White, made with Toby's Estate coffee.

Their caprese toastie is delicious but it's also worth checking out their different breakfast rolls.

They sell a variety of different beans, as well as equipment like scales, V60s and teapots.

Sanguinary is the place to go for quality coffee in Blackheath.
