Terrible service…we organised a late checkout weeks prior to our booking (in writing) but at 10am we aggressively got told by cleaners and then management that we had to get out immediately or would be charged $50 per half hour. We tried to explain the situation and he continued to aggressively argue with us, even standing over my friend as he got angrier. We tried to give solutions and told him one room was ready for cleaning if the cleaners wanted to start there and he just walked off saying get out by 11 or we would be charged $50 per half hour. Terrible service from a terrible park with terrible run down and old facilities and cabins. Will not be returning, and will let my friends and family know not to bother ruining their holiday by coming here.

The caretaker that was on on the 19th was very friendly and even though he was about to leave for the day he took his time to help us even when other staff walked straight past. 5 stars for him

Staff are hopeless, cabins are way overpriced and not well kept. Ours was so dirty, they even make you pay an extra charge for linen (a sheet on the bed and towel).. and then when you get there it’s not even in the room! You have to go ask the painfully slow staff to get it for you. Location is pretty good, I like that it has a golf course. It’s not easy to get down to the beach if you don’t have a 4WD.

If you are a large group who want to party without pesty security people policing noise this is the campground for you. Karaoke machines until midnight, no problem. Families with kids, great day time space. Loads of areas to ride bikes. No quiet time at night means no sleep. Showers are too small for kids, no seat to put equipment. No mops for you to clean the showers, so filthy most of the time.
Really sad about the noise, easily fixable with on site security, and showers because it should be a great place to stay with kids

The young lady checking us in seemed disturbed we had to check in as she was too busy despite I was the only customer in the reception. Not friendly at 12pm. Sites very small and campground over crowded. Amenities not cleaned well enough. Same pile of sand and hair in corners of shower cubicals all week. Creepy people walking around late at night. Beach is absolutely beautiful. Boardwalk to beach is also beautiful and easy to access from camp ground. Maybe better during off peak times as staff maybe over loaded.

For younger groups of people wanting to have a bit of fun maybe visit another holiday park…..

Stayed here with a group of friends this weekend and overall experience was good but it was tarnished with the caretaker/ranger having a personal vendetta against us. As friends do we were laughing, having fun and playing music - but definitely not overly loud. What was especially ridiculous was that at 4:30pm he visited the camp site telling us to turn the music down and be quiet? 4:30?! We respected his wishes and turned the music down and made an effort to not be so loud.
Then later in the night we turned off our music and played drinking games. Despite there being another campsite on the other side of the amenities to us being SO loud, yelling and playing music - the sus ranger just parked in front of our campsite and stared at us for nearly 10 minutes….. made us incredibly uncomfortable especially since we were not making any noise at this time.

Camped for a few days at a powered site on the bush side. Road in can be very dusty but watered down by tanker truck at least once that we saw. A fairly large camp ground with what felt like heaps of space. We were lucky enough to relocate sites before setting up so to be along the creek. Possums, bush turkeys, kookaburras and ducks all interested in our meal times. Possums can be noisy at night. The bay is quiet and fun to play in, though not as many walking paths or foreshore as may have been expected. Cellito is beautiful but unpatrolled though can be quite busy, open to public.. there's a short walk through the rocky headland to the north with good views along coastline and unique rock formations. The road that leads to golf club and boardwalk makes for a circuit of 2.5km walk or ride from the bush sites. Amenities kept well clean, the staff all helpful, friendly and polite.
