Great accommodation in a perfect spot. 1 and a bit hours to Brisbane and the same to Noosa, such a central location to so many places. We hired a car for the week so got to do so much.
The pool is great. We went in winter but there is a heated pool and spa so the little one swam everyday. The ground floor rooms walk straight into the pool so a really great feature.
Rooms are nice. On the older side but well maintained.
So many things to do close by the location is perfect.
Plane noise during the day but stops around 7pm.
We had a great stay.

We have just returned after another lovely stay at Sand Dunes. Sophie and her team are so friendly and helpful. We appreciate their flexibility. ||We had a midlevel two bedroom, two bathroom apartment overlooking the pool, east facing. It was clean and had everything that we needed. ||The pools are amazing - huge, lovely and clean. Great for swimming lengths. The lagoon pool isn't heated. Last year in February it was gorgeous, in April it was still nice but cooling down. Never fear, there is a heated pool and large spa.||We're a bit fussy about what we are looking for in an apartment. When I am going somewhere new, before booking I generally phone the resort and talk through our requirements. There is a resort map on the website, but if you haven't been to Sand Dunes it's a bit hard to understand. After a quick phone call, Sophie got it spot on, and we were super happy with her recommended apartment. ||The location is great - 2 minutes walk and you're on the endless beach, and a pleasant 15 minute walk down Mudjimba Esplande to the cafes. Don't be put off by the airport. It's a regional one, so there aren't that many flights and it all depends which way the wind is blowing. Marcoola is nice and close to the shopping in Maroochydore, or a short drive to the cafes and (dog) beach at Coolum (when you need a dog fix because yours is at home 🙂 ).||Always very sad to leave, but really looking forward to returning next summer. Thank you.

We stayed in the three bedroom villa and it was everything our family of 5 needed for the week. Our kids did not want to leave the two pools or spa. The resort was centrally located to where we travelled to and from during the day. Having the beach just a stones throw away was an added bonus. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful location and great place to recharge. Kids loved all the pools and the beach. Room was clean and modern with a comfy bed. No complaints, just didn't want to leave

My partner, daughter and I stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment on the 2nd floor (room 47). The room was welcoming when we arrived with nice cool aircon which was amazing with how hot the day was. The room was cute, neat and spacious. After an hour, I decided to give my daughter a bath when I noticed a whole bunch of ants all around the shower / shower screen and walls. This continued into 2 other bedrooms including her room which some were also found on her bed. Reception was closed for the day including the next being a Sunday, so we had to just make do with squishing them. We called the after hours number in the morning who said someone would be over soon - we waited an hour just for him to bring a can of spray.. we said it wasn’t going to fix the problem and he said it’s a common problem in a few units due to humidity. At this point we were annoyed and frustrated because if it was a known problem, it would have been helpful to have some spray in the room - we stayed at two other places this holiday who provided this

My partner phoned the after hours number again and said we still weren’t happy with the outcome and it’s uncomfortable having to deal with ants when it’s meant to be a holiday. The lady said there was nothing she could do but would leave a message for the manager.

THANKFULLY we had a knock on our door within the hour with a new set of keys to a new room. The new room was absolutely perfect and exactly what we had envisioned when we booked the accomodation. I was so happy with how the situation was dealt with and the park definitely redeemed themselves! I understand ants get into places but when you pay money to stay in nice accomodation it’s the last thing you want to deal with - especially having ants crawl on your daughters wall when you’re trying to put her to sleep

Lastly, the first room desperately needed a deep clean with cob webs, dusty window seals and grim on the toilet bowl and shower walls. The second room was much better.

Thank you for the nice stay and assisting us promptly with the issue! The pool is beautiful and definitely the stays highlight 🙂

10/10 stay, would absolutely stay again. Room was comfortable, beds extremely comfy. Excellent air con. Lovely staff who made us feel so welcome. Couldn’t fault anything. 3 different pools to choose from, a larger non heated pool, another heated pool and a hot spa pool, divine! Something for everyone. A short 2 minute stroll to the beach. Looking forward to my next visit already. We stayed mid floor in a 2 bedroom and the setup was excellent with a great view over then pool

We stayed in a ground floor 2 bedroom apartment. The place is fabulous, easy check in the ladies on Reception were just lovely. The apartment was clean and tidy, and the beds were super comfy. The large pool was just fabulous right outside our door.|We will definitely come back and stay!

Rooms are nice and spacious, showers and bathrooms & kitchen areas could do with a deep clean.
Great service received by the host/reception desk.
Lots of plane noise over, but you get used to it.
New cleaners would be suggested
