We had our son and daughter-in-law's wedding reception at San Martin. We are of Sri Lankan origin and I wanted to showcase our food and was searching for a venue that would accommodate external catering but didn't look like a community center. I am so glad I stumbled across this beautiful hidden treasure. To add to the challenge I was living in Adelaide and organizing an event in Sydney. My son and his fiancé at that time were living on the other side of Sydney with demanding jobs as well. The venue Coordinator JK was absolutely phenomenal. Nothing was too hard, no request was impossible. Location, location, location. It starts from a stunning drive to the venue and then venue is just stunning with a magnificent backdrop. In terms of decoration, you don't need to do much - almost nothing as the venue itself oozes class and elegance. A boat ride and photo op was given to the Bride and groom. Drinks flowed in generously. Thank you JK and the team for making this day look so magical.

We got married last weekend and we couldn’t be happier about our choice for San Martin - Akuna Bay. We had a small wedding for 50 people and JK made the wedding planning less painful that we anticipated. He was super helpful and honest about how we could make everything easier and mostly stress free. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and we were blessed with a sunny and fresh Saturday. The venue itself needed minimal decoration, the natural light in the afternoon is fantastic and the dimmed lights during dinner made for a lovely atmosphere. We had a minor problem with the microphone during the ceremony but it was promptly addressed and didn’t interfere with our magical moment. The sound system is superb and our guests had a blast on the dance floor. Plenty of parking spots, a bit hard to find a Uber back if you want to drink, but none of our guests had any problem because we let them know and they planned ahead.

From the first meeting with JK & his team, we were treated like royalty & with so much kindness & friendliness. Planning the reception for our wedding was easy as we had jks assistance.
The location is absolutely perfect, quiet & peaceful by the water. My wife still raves to this day about how beautiful the venue was & the detail/aesthetic‘s of it all! We had many wedding guests reach out to us afterwards raving about the venue, commending the staff, and food + wine!

San Martin was THE BEST choice for our wedding venue, that we could have made. From the first enquiry to the very last detail on the wedding day we've had a fantastic experience. JK was extremely helpful and accommodated all of our requests to make the day special. Booking process and updating details related to the day were super easy when using the online events page. Needless to say, the location is fantastic and absolutely beautiful.

The food and service on the day was outstanding. From the grazing platters through to the canapes, and especially the main dinner and finally the dessert, our guests were continuously complimenting the food served.

P.S. If you are still looking for the perfect venue for your event, we think you have just found it!

My wife and I got married here last week. It really was the most amazing day of our lives. The venue is absolutely stunning and catered for our every need. But in addition to the beautiful view, venue and amenities available, it was JK's service, patience and accommodating of us that really won us over from the beginning. JK really made us feel comfortable and went out of his way countless times to cater to our needs and reassure us that our day would be looked after. He was flexible with our ideas on how we wanted to arrange the ceremony and reception and frequently adapted to changed we made along the way. The genuine care and effort he showed towards our day showed a real passion for what he does and made all of the difference for us.

As for the wedding day itself, it could not have been more beautiful. The furniture and setting were perfect. Our guests could not stop raving about how beautiful everything was and as well, the incredible taste and quality of the food. The cherry on the cake though was the staff. Kelly and the team were amazing throughout the entire evening. And when the taxi company failed to arrive to collect our guests at close to midnight, these incredible staff members assisted our friends and family to safely leave the national park and make it home. This was well after the event had ended, in their own personal time!

We cannot thank JK and his incredible team enough for what was truly a most special and memorable day which we are very grateful for. I cannot recommend this venue enough, whether it be for a small intimate wedding or a large extravagant one, San Martin will go out of their way to look after you.
