I would say their dishes are not just food. It’s an art!!!! I recommend the deep fried fish. It’s cheaper than other restaurants but tastes so fresh!!!

Delicious food; friendly efficient service however the portions of meat in the two dishes we had were less than 200g each dish. Maybe 150 g. Gave feedback to manager/owner and he responded by saying- well the visits are high! As a retired Thai restaurant owner I think that 250 g is minimum meat portion for a dish priced in the mid $20’s. I think food cost for each dish we had ( crispy pork and chicken curry) was less than $5 so his margins are pretty good. He was booked out on a Thursday so clearly he has a good following. Again, delicious but stingy on the meat portion.

More spaces outdoors seating and indoor so much better now. We still love our dinner the same menu every time. Prawns Crunchy is amazingly delicious and Stir Fry Vegetarian also splendid. Will try new menu next time for sure. Great smiley staffs are plus points. Keep up the good work!

We had been recommended to try Samgasat. We were disappointed. Whilst the place and the service were excellent, the food was disappointing. The aroma and fragrance of Thai cooking was missing as was the lush flavours. The beef ribs were tender but looked like there was something missing on the plate the way it was served. The roast duck was nice but the sauce it was in was bland and flavourless. The jasmine rice was almost gluggy. We actually thought the mixed entree was store bought which was disappointing. There are great Thai restaurants around Cairns but I'm not sure this is one of them.

The BEST Thai place in Cairns. The dishes are always so fresh and full of flavour. If you bring in your own whole fish, they cook it for you in the most delicious way. Highly recommend. One of my favourite restaurants in Cairns.

Overall, the food was good and we especially enjoyed the fried fish cake and the fried whole fish with some fresh herbs on top. However, the uncomfortable seating area was the total disappointment. There was constant and strong cooking oil fumes filled in the air by the open kitchen, and the tables were sitting too close to each other we had to almost yell to hear each other during the meal. We will come back for a takeaway but will not dine in next time.
