We had an absolute blast at this gorgeous venue, bringing together 3 generations of family from all over and utilising the whole site for a long weekend party. The rooms were beautifully presented and appointed, the grounds glorious and immaculate, the pool a delight, and we enjoyed all of the other amenities and activities too. We appreciated the non-intrusive and good natured support from Barry and Judith very much. Highly recommend.

Such a beautiful spot perfect for a romantic weekend, a group getaway, or a catch-up with friends. Judith was amazing to deal with, very patient and helpful while we booked in accommodation for 15 people.

Between the pool, pizza oven, sauna, tennis court, and lake we had plenty to keep everyone busy. The views were stunning which made it such a great place to sit down and have a few drinks.

The pool house and Barn exceeded our expectations in every way, and the resounding feedback from our group was that they couldn’t believe they’d never heard of the location before and that they were going to be telling everyone that’s looking for a place to stay that they should check out Samford Lakes. We will definitely be returning for more weekends away in the near future.

I had booked this accommodation so I could attend a training seminar near by. From the beginning to the end of my stay I found Joanne to be quite helpful in our communication and just pleasant . My room (The Stable) was clean, homely and charming. Just perfect for what I needed and provided a good place to rest. Next time I stay I will bring my family and get out my camera as the grounds are just lovely and picturesque. Highly recommended 👌

We stayed in the Spillway Cottage for two nights on our honeymoon in January - such a beautiful cabin and location! Everything was beautifully clean, quiet, and comfortable. I would recommend some black-out curtains for the main living/dining area where the bed is - the room was flooded with light by 4:30-5AM, so not great for trying to sleep in a bit. 🙂 Otherwise, everything was wonderful, and the hosts were very kind and accomodating. Lovely stay!

Such a beautiful property! The view of the lake is stunning and peaceful. We enjoyed a kayak on the lake and sweated it out on the tennis court!
My partner actually made a mistake with our booking so we arrived a week early (oops) however, Joanne and Norm were very accommodating and arranged for us to stay this weekend despite our mistake! Can’t recommend this place enough, we will definitely be returning!

Our cottage on the lake was just delightful. We enjoyed waking up to the sight and sounds of amazing birdlife. The property is very well maintained, with a nice boardwalk, tennis court and other facilities on offer. We stayed at Midway Cottage (which accommodates 5) as this was the only one available so the cost was pretty steep especially considering there are none of the usual 'frills' provided (aside from tea, coffee, a tiny carton of milk and a mini oven which didn't work properly). That aside, the cottage was gorgeous and very clean and the setting was tranquil although there was quite a bit of road noise at times.

Stayed here for a work event. Cottages are amazing, the barn and the other larger house are aging but full of Queenslander charm. Tennis courts, lake, and pizza oven were all enjoyed by everyone. Too cold for the pool on our visit but it looked immaculate.

A wonderful location for our event. Craig, Joanne and Norm were incredible hosts and went above and beyond to assist us in any way possible, making our job much easier. Our guests were blown away by the spectacular views and experience at Samford Lakes. ||We stayed at the barn loft but also had a look at the other cottages around the lake which were stunning! ||Thank you guys for being so helpful and accommodating. I will be back (hopefully for a holiday)!
