Atmosphere here is nice. Even though it is a little further from the waters edge.
Service is super friendly and food is simple but tasty.
Make sure that you look at the special boards as they can be useful as the normal menu is a bit limited. Add the special boards however, and it lifts this place from a good place to a great place.

Salty’s is the perfect spot for Brekky and coffee. A steaming hot delicious Mocca was made with panache by champion barrista Seth, our vegetarian fare was tasty and very satisfying. Thanks for the down to earth, friendly service and great welcome to Toogoom. 🙏🏼 Andre and Michelle

Lunch at Salty Squid is definitely worth a drop in. We had the seafood platter, a good share size for 2 at $46. It had 4 of everything- fresh king prawns, battered prawn, calamari and fish pieces plus scallops on shell with chips and salad . Tasted awesome . We had a glass of their Rose wine to wash it down, refreshing . You can sit at tables on deck or down the stairs . Staff are very friendly and prompt. Thoroughly recommend .

I have been to Salty at Toogoom several times since the new owners Denis and War War took over in February. If you are in Toogoom, I highly recommend that you pop in for a Coffee or a Meal.

I have been twice now. Friendly staff but I think still having a few teething problems (forgetting customers orders). Food selection is good. They have a seperate breakfast menu.

I visited Saltys at Toogoom for a delightful lunch recently. Very friendly and welcoming staff, from the moment I arrived until I left.
I had a lovely home made sausage roll, salad and the best chips yummo.
A delicious piece of orange and almond cake for sweets and a great coffee
Such a lovely peaceful cafe, with charming atmosphere and fast efficient service.
Highly recommended.
I will definitely visit again to try their other menu items.

Great food. I definately recommend the Eggs Benedict toasted sandwich. It was cooked to perfection. Staff are so friendly.
