I had a fantastic massage—5/5 for my therapist. She was friendly, professional, and made me feel completely at ease.

However, the service and reception was disappointing—2/5. When booking, I was initially told they would only take a 90-minute massage at 8am, which didn’t suit me. After a long back-and-forth, they eventually booked me in later. A few days later, I got a vague voicemail just saying, “Call me back on this number,” with no mention of who was calling or where they were from.

During my massage, I could hear a man at reception the whole time—not exactly relaxing. Then, when I went to pay, the same man was too busy on a personal call to even acknowledge me. It felt unprofessional and unwelcoming.

For the price (which I thought was quite high for a 90-minute massage), I expected a more premium experience. The reception staff could really benefit from some customer service training to match the quality of the therapists.

I visited today with my mum for facial, massage and salt room experience and found it to be pretty overpriced. Massages were okay but not proper remedial massages as agreed. The massage therapists were nice but one of them didn’t speak or introduce herself at all, or check in on the quality of the massage throughout.

A fire alarm test went off mid-massage which disturbed the ambience. You can also hear reception / guests during the treatment and the door slammed loudly a few times.

We were offered water but no herbal tea or anything post-massage.

The salt cave is basically just a room you sit in on recliners. There are kids toys on the floor which is a little random. They said they would let us know when the 45 minutes was up but we didn’t hear from them and kind of just wandered out at the end.

All in all, the staff are nice but the service doesn’t really warrant the very high price point. For $470 you expect a certain degree of luxury which was just missing.

A massive thank you to everyone I met at the Salt Caves Mooloolaba. I felt fortunate to enjoy a salt cave experience on Thursday and was very excited to return on Saturday for a relaxation massage with the beautiful and gifted Chantelle. The massage experience was perfect from beginning to end and I left (after my complimentary follow up salt cave experience) feeling relaxed and ready to take on the new year! I have had some respiratory issues (possibly due to mould toxicity) and after two salt cave treatments I feel better than ever. Thank you to Kim and all the staff for two professional and well organised visits to Salt Caves Mooloolaba. I look forward to booking again soon.

The experience I had here, for the price was rather mediocre. I bought a remedial and salt caves voucher as I had never been here before and it kept popping up online, I was disappointed when I experienced it. While the massage was okay, it certainly wasn't remedial and was more close to your generic Thai Massage, the professionalism when entering was not great, there was no one at the desk and could hear people chatting in the back room.

The salt caves themselves, I have to admit was a disappointment, considering we live next to the beach where you have salt in your face all day, it's not really what I was expecting.

I'm only giving the rating because of the relaxing massage not for remedial, but I definitely don't think the price was worth it. I've been to better places.

My experience was magical! Thank you to Bec for the remedial and relaxing massage... I walked out feeling so good!

The business is priced well, smells great and the ambience of the soft glow of salt lamp rock wall, the gentle hands of Bec and the no fuss service here is well worth the money.

I had the detox package which is 30 min sauna 60 min massage ( includes back scrub) and 45 mins in salt cave.
I’ve given 3 stars because the massage was truly wonderful, one of the best I’ve had.
Receptionist was friendly but the attention to detail is missing which you’d expect for the price.
Toilet is outside onto the street and into an arcade next door. Water is provided but not tea, and no water in the salt cave where it’s needed due to the salt drying you out.
While the massage was very good there isn’t that ambience and approach you’d expect from a high end spa. While massage was in progress someone else entered the room and banged about cleaning the infra red sauna Id been in.
Masseuse came in before I had finished laying down following sauna and just stood with the door open while I was standing topless . No knock and wait and it was my responsibility to time the 30 mins I figured.
No instructions given re operation of the sauna so as it was very hot so I managed to work out how to reduce the temperature but not sure if I was supposed to.
I wasn’t shown how the chairs worked in the salt cave ( about a dozen chairs all in together) and luckily saw the one other person in there at the time had reclined and put their feet up so i fished around and worked it out but otherwise wouldn’t have known and wouldve just sat. It was comfy and relaxing and I drifted off but not sure of any therapeutic benefit
Your things go in a locker , it’s a bit like visiting tye local swimming pool

I recommend the spa for a great massage if you’re not concerned about people skills but unless you’re really keen on salt caves I’d give them a miss and get a sauna at your hotel or local pool.

I did 60 min massage + salt cave. Absolutly loved that experience. Ended up getting a free 30 min salt cave experience. Really professional people who’ll make sure you’re comfortable. Everyone should definielty spent time in the salt cave!

The staffs are very friendly It was amazing experience to be in the salt cave and Facial and massage was awesome. , i feel relax and revive. My gosh definitely going back. Angela thank you for looking after me.
