Lovely park open air part internal air conditioned cafe. Set opposite beach ⛱️ with great views. Wanting outside, my suggestion is to book as so popular will fill quickly. We had the big breakfast and eggs Benedict with crispy bacon. Chai tea and a coffee.

Pleasantly surprised at how fast our meals arrived, less than 10 minutes after ordering and while coffee was still hot.
King prawn omelette and Brekky bowl were both delicious and generous portions.
Staff were good and of course the location is lovely, right opposite the water.
This is our second visit (last time was 5 years ago) and very happy with everything. Would highly recommend!

Ordered bacon and eggs asked for the eggs not to be runny was assured by the waitress that it was no trouble..
Food looked and smelt great until I put a fork in and watched a chicken period disperse itself amongst my breakfast! . The experience was redeemed somewhat by the pet bin chicken . See attached video . Oh and the cheeky bin chicken shit on our table as we walked to the table. The waitress who was lovely did wipe it off before we sat down . Looking back maybe 1 star is a bit rough because it's a funny story and apart from the egg debacle (the egg would probably out run Kathy freeman)

Came here for breakfast and the views from the cafe sealed the deal. Service was good, our food came out at a reasonable time despite how busy it was. All was well. Until the food came out. On the surface everything looked good, but on closer inspection my eggs and toast ended up being eggs on half a toast due to the large (and admittedly naturally occurring) hole in my ciabatta! It just threw my whole ingredient to mouth ratio off. Anyway, next came my iced latte. It’s a hot day so I welcomed it greatly, but then, I take a mouthful of the most bitter tasting liquid I’ve ever encountered. I did a double take thinking someone had snuck cheap vodka in. But no, it was burnt coffee. I had so much hope for a good morning, but was left literally with a bitter taste in my mouth. Unfortunately I don’t live around these parts so I can’t go back to give this place another try.

Salt Café Urangan has a fantastic ocean view, one of the few cafés in the area with such a great setting. The food was fine, and the coffee was average. Unfortunately, we had an issue with our booking – we reserved a specific table in advance, but when we arrived, our name was crossed off, and the table was given to someone else. After discussing it with the staff, they eventually gave us our reserved table. Just a heads-up: if you book a table, be prepared for potential mix-ups.

It was a really nice place and has lovely staff but the egg in brunch burger very under cooked. The egg white was still clear. Other then that the drinks were lovely and the coffee was nice

Easily the best breakfast I have had in the Bay so far! Absolutely delicious tasting eggs and bacon, oven cooked tomatoes, ciabata and a splash of green spinach leaves.
Owned by the Hervey Bay RSL this has awesome staff, ultra accomodating and then the views of Urangan Pier, the legendary sandbar and across to Fraser Island 🏝 😀
