A fascinating space with multiple artists and small businesses working under one roof. Quite clever. Warm, modern fitout that feels calm and clean with seamless common concierge. There’s a lounge area with coffee and tea available, and communal table should you need to work during treatment.

I did read that noise can travel between the private rooms but honestly as a client it didn’t bother me as it’s akin to most other hair salon experiences (sound of the wash basin, hairdryer) and overall still a calming, relaxing space where I was almost drifting off. I was advised upfront too about this too which was helpful to have that mutual expectation. The room was private so that I could change within.

Parking beneath is free for first 1.5 hrs, but there’s also parking at the Coles one block away that’s free for 2 hrs.

What an amazing experience!
I had the privilege of being one of Amanda’s guests for my wedding hair and boy oh boy did she meet the brief. I had been holding out to get my hair done by Amanda so she had her work cut out for her but MY GOD did she deliver. I am soooooo HAPPY with the results I could cry. Amanda is not only incredibly knowledgeable in her craft but also super friendly I had the best experience and could not recommend her enough. Salon lane is also a beautiful space giving a nice calm and relaxing vibe. 10/10 can’t wait for my next visit 🤍

This was such a relaxing experience. My therapist was extremely friendly. The room was completely relaxing. The experience was better than I was expecting. I loved the cozy blanket while I relaxed, the hot towels just took away any pressure or stress. Everyone was friendly. We weren’t rushed off after treatment either, as we were able to enjoy a complimentary coffee. Highly recommended as a unique spoil.

Amanda is the most incredible hairdresser. I came in with stripey uneven dark and orange hair , after having a botched job at one of Sydney's most "prestigious" salons.
She is the most welcoming relaxed cool girl that will make you feel so comfortable and relaxed, she does not over book her clients she prefers to take her time with each client and is really passionate about delivering a high quality result .
Her skill level is unmatched and I will travelling across Sydney to keep coming to see her.

I recently visited Hi by Tomo for my hair appointment, and as always, it was an amazing experience. I’ve been with Tomo for almost eight years now, and she never disappoints!

This time, she also introduced me to Amanda, a talented makeup artist (and hairstylist), for my registration day makeup. This was my first time having my makeup done by a professional, and I was both excited and nervous. But Amanda was incredibly skilled, calm, and professional, instantly making me feel at ease.

I absolutely loved the makeup she did for me—it was delicate, natural, and flawless. She used high-quality products that felt great on my skin. The real surprise? Even after an entire day with friends and a night out at the pub until 11 PM, my makeup still looked fresh and clean! (And trust me, my skin is on the oily side, so that’s a rare feat!)
