My bestie and I had a staycation here. She has stayed here since she was a child but it was my first time actually staying, I had only been to the bar and restaurant prior to this.||Being so close to home still, I felt like I was on a proper vacation. The resort is beautiful. The pool is great and has lovely cabanas around it with shade roofs you can close or open yourself, this was an awesome feature for when we wanted to sunbake for a bit but then be back in the shade. The pool was clean and a nice temperature. They have spa and also a littler pool attached to the big pool for the little ones to stand and play in. Could also be used as a ‘cool off’ spa area for adults. ||The staff were beyond amazing and so helpful. We attended the buffet breakfast in the morning not realising how busy it would be due to it being Father’s Day (sorry Dad) despite it being super busy the staff were so accomodating and friendly and on top of everything. The food selection was GREAT! Everything from bacon, hash browns, eggs, mushrooms, tomato’s, pastries, waffles, different breads you can toast, yoghurts, fruit, the lot. ||You definitely get your moneys worth. It was all hot and delicious! I love that they had Nutella packets to spread also, a nice touch to my waffles. ||We had an executive room on the bottom floor. Now my best friend is not a “bottom floor” kind of girlie. But she has converted at this particular hotel and even said when we come to stay again throughout summer we must have the same room we were in. It had a large wrap around balcony you could enter from the lounge room or the bedroom, big outdoor grass area, sunbed lounge on the balcony, table and chairs and down a short walkway between the beautiful gardens was the entry to the pool so we were able to come back and fourth to the pool area to use the bathroom or charge our phones etc. ||The bedroom is spacious and has a great amount of storage space to pop your clothes away if you’re one of those “not going to live out of my suitcase” people. The bathroom was great, the products were great and smelt amazing, they were bigger bottles which is so handy especially when washing your hair after the pool. ||The whole vibe is so serene, outside of the hotel in the heart of port Macquarie it can get busy especially in the warmer months, but you never feel or hear it when you’re in the hotel. It’s truly a great escape. ||We had my friend’s daughter come visit us for the day and she requested to come back the next day because she |loved it so much. The lounge room area is spacious with a good sized tv, the kitchen has everything you need if you want to cook your own meal, or, order from the restaurant and sit on the balcony taking in the views (like we did) the food was amazing, couldn’t fault it.||Our friends and I have decided to book staycations there ongoing now! There is a carpark available for a small fee and it’s accessible to the shops across the road which have big w, Woolworths and other cafes and shops in it. ||Absolutely recommend this place to both locals for a staycation and those coming to visit our beautiful town.

Great location, great staff - friendly, attentive and helpful. Good buffet breakfast covering the standard breakfast fare in most hotel buffets, so think scrambled eggs, mushrooms, breads and pastries, fruits, yoghurts, cereals.||Wonderful heated pool with nice relaxing lounges.||Great room, not too big though. Incredibly comfortable bed - the mattress was seriously like sleeping on a cloud!||The overall feel of Sails exuded a sense of luxury without the massive price tag. Would stay here again if I was visiting Port Mac.

Great location and nice facilities on site. However, the rooms are tired and in need of an update. Service was good, we were initially given a room on ground floor and were able to be moved to a room on the first floor easily. This was much appreciated so we could enjoy the balcony and view over the marina.

Great location with beautiful views of harbour and river. Easy parking and walking to the centre of town was easy.|Additional choice of eating establishments in the marina makes it easy to find good food nearby. The lobby bar coul|d improve its glassware as most drinks felt budget in cheap glasses however overall a good stay.

We booked a superior room, but unfortunately, there was nothing "superior" about it. The room felt sparse and lacked any warmth, with bare walls and no artwork to liven it up. Our view? The car park—hardly what you’d expect for a supposed upgrade. To top it off, they charge for parking, which adds to the frustration.

The internet was another letdown—unstable and practically useless, making it impossible to stay connected. As for the furniture, the lounge chairs were only 270mm from the floor, which was incredibly uncomfortable. I have no idea what they were thinking when they chose these for a hotel room!

There wasn’t even a phone in the room, so contacting reception was out of the question, and no room service was available either.

All in all, this hotel falls well below expectations, and I definitely wouldn’t recommend it.

A wonderful and relaxing weekend away with friends! Staff were very professional and went above and beyond to accommodate us. Very impressed by Barretts restaurant for brekkie, dinner and cocktails. The pool area is modern and beautifully landscaped. Great location on a quiet beach and 5min drive to The Entrance. Hope to return soon.

Stayed here for our anniversary and the staff were friendly and the executive suite was clean and well looked after with great views. We received a bottle of champagne and strawberry chocolates which was very kind and they went the extra mile to make us feel special.

The staff is lovely and are helpful. The location is great. |Unfortunately on the Friday night there was a function on the third floor. The rooms of the hotel are designed around an open middle core so that any sound can be heard in the rooms. There was a band playing on the third floor which was really loud and fortunately stopped around 10.45. Unfortunately then for the next two and a half hours the people attending talked loudly as they left. Our room was directly over the exit/entrance to the hotel and meaning we could hear them shouting their goodbyes and beeping there car farewells. |There definitely needs to be signs to remind people that there are guests (besides themselves) trying to sleep. I won't be staying again
