Came here for brunch and got items from the breakfast menu. The Asian fusion breakfast options were a refreshing change to the usual cafe options, however we found the brisket in the brisket croissant to be too salty.

The decor inside is very nice, almost Euro kitsch. Unfortunately the tables are a little packed too close together and requires some adjusting to ensure everyone can get in and out.

The service is friendly when you can get their attention but we struggled to get someone to notice us to request some salt and pepper.

Don’t be fooled by the 5 star reviews, they are giving away free tarts for a 5 star review.

This is my honest review, hope they can improve on their service and food quantity.

Pros:
- We were able to make a reservation without any seating problems
- The flavour of the seafood risotto and beef pasta was great, smelt amazing when it arrived at the table

Cons:
- Poor customer service, the young staff are not trained properly, rude and no manners, and made errors with our food
- We had a table of 6 and ordered 6 main dishes, 5 dishes came out and we were waiting for the last dish but it never came. We then asked the waiter and they were insistent that we only ordered 5 dishes, despite having a table of 6. The waiter who took our order did not apologise that he missed out one dish, he kept arguing that we only ordered 5 dishes. We didn’t want to a waste our time so we didn’t argue back. When the last dish finally came, it was another waitress, as the original waiter had no guts to give us the dish and apologise. Very disappointing! The waiters should be more attentive to the table to see the number of guests and question if they think the dishes ordered were not enough!
- Main dishes portion is very small, it’s not enough to feed an average to big eater
- The seafood risotto had very little amounts of seafood, the mussels were so small, smaller than a 5 cent coin! The prawns were also on the small side. 2 pieces of small white fish
- 10% surcharges on the weekend
- Small seating areas, so make sure to book

Overall I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you really want to try a new place. Poor service and very little portions.

I don’t often leave poor reviews but we had a terrible experience. Please train your young staff properly before they serve real customers, otherwise they will scare the customers away!

This newly opened cafe surprise me a lot with their delicious food and drinks and their friendly and helpful services. I can tell that the chefs there are doing an amazing job from creating the combination of the ingredients cooking methods and plating the dishes. It was definitely worth of money to enjoy such fine dining experience. 100% recommended.

Great new cafe in Eight Mile Plains! We ordered beef ragú pasta and fried chicken Benny and both were nice. Our favourite was the truffle fries tho! 🙂

Would come back and try their other dishes.

The restaurant is newly opened.
I ordered the seafood risotto, and the rice was cooked perfectly to my liking.

When the waiter served it to me, the aroma was amazing.

I will definitely visit again.

Don’t forget to order the milk tea if you love a stronger tea flavor in your milk tea.

Beautiful new cafe in the area! Definitely the best coffee around. The setting has lot of personality to it. Staff were attentive and very helpful running through the menu. I ordered the Arrabbiata pasta with this delicious Beef Bacon that I’ve never tried before. And it was absolutely stunning!! From the first bite you already knew for sure they make things from scratch.
Best higher end restaurant in the area for sure.

Very well done team. Looking forward to going back for more!!!

I had the pleasure of dining at Sai Bistro, and it was an absolutely delightful experience! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a modern yet cozy vibe. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive.

As for the food, wow! Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. The menu offers a great variety, with plenty of options for vegetarians and meat lovers alike. I especially enjoyed the TRUFFLE MUSHROOM FETTUCCINE which was bursting with fresh ingredients and bold flavors.

The prices were very reasonable considering the quality of the food and service. If you’re in the area and looking for a great place to eat, I highly recommend Sai Bistro! I’ll definitely be back.
