We wanted to attend a Lions convention in Woolgoolga so Safety Beach Ocean Bungalows was the perfect place to stay. Close to where we had to attend, and very peaceful , 4 cottages there but they were individually isolated in lovely tropical gardens so could hardly see the other cottages. Bird life was great and you could even see wallabies in the morning and evenings. Very comfortable and very clean and tidy. Would stay there again.

The accommodation is very comfortable. It’s a great location, a pleasant walk to the beach. We saw whales from the heads at Wooloolga and went to the markets at Emerald Beach. Great value for money. Although we didn’t take our dog with us on this visit, we will certainly bring him along next time. Very good facilities.

The constant leaf-blowing from the management/maintenance ruins what is otherwise a quiet and picturesque location... Every morning, without fail, is a loud power tool inevitably timed to ruin's ones otherwise peaceful breakfast experience, made even more frustrating by its being totally unnecessary — there aren't that many leaves anywhere, let alone in the stone driveway of the Bungalows. Additionally, the television remotes were not usable as the batteries were flat, and there was a lot of dust around the entertainment unit making it quite disgusting to try to use (though without a working remote, there wasn't much point). Useful accommodation if you need a pet-friendly place for sure, but there are certainly improvements that could easily be made to make one's stay more pleasant and worthy of your money.

Our third stay at this lovely accommodation, this time with family for a major birthday celebration. Nina and Brett could not possibly have done more for us to ensure it was the most memorable of occasions. Wonderful, comfortable, and private bungalows, close to the beach and just a short drive from Woopi. The only downside to the whole thing was the oven in the cabin as we couldn't find the sweet spot for timing and overcooked our food a couple of times, but in the overall it's a minor inconvenience and we loved our stay. Thank you to Nina and Brett, and Kelvin and Colette, for all the work they put in from enquiry to departure. We can't wait to come back again.

Lovely accommodation and beautiful location. The facilities are clean with everything you need for a great weekend getaway. I’ve stayed here several times before and will stay here again in the future. It is excellent for taking your dog with.

Great cabins and very quiet. a short walk to the beautiful Safety Beach. You will most likely be the only person on the beach. Fantastic. Short drive or 3km walk to Woolgoolga for dining, surf club and shops. Cross over the little stream from the lake or go for a walk along the lake shore.

We totally enjoyed our 5 night stay. Our bungalow was very clean and very well equipped .while a couple of hooks in the bathroom would have been helpful it's really a small thing. Great for the dogs, beautiful quiet spot and so close to all the beaches and supermarket.

Have been coming here for years with my fur baby and it never fails to impress. The cottages are comfy, well appointed and have everything you need for a nice break. The beach is close and friendly for the doggos. Could not recommend highly enough. Kieran is great to deal with.
