Stayed here on a journey with my collie to Melbourne and didn't want to stay in a pet friendly motel in Gundagai and I'm glad I drove the little bit further to Tumut and stayed here. ||||I had the little demountable and it had absolutely everything that I needed for a one night stay with my dog. I was welcomed to the little accommodation with the heating on and as it was the middle of winter- this was a lovely touch. There were some nice food items available and I had a great nights sleep and the location in the morning was beautiful. ||||I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone wanting somewhere nice to stay with their dog whilst doing the journey from Brisbane to Melbourne etc.

What a find this place was. Set out of town in a lovely and quiet location the peace is to be appreciated. My "unit" had a well resourced dining / lounge room, a large, beautifully furnished bedroom and well appointed bathroom. All the nice little touches were there with complimentary continental breakfast, fruit, plunger coffee, a selection of jams and breakfast spreads and chocolates. The cost was so reasonable it might have been a steal. The owners are very friendly and helpful which is so important. Everything about this place is so comfortable and pleasing. Full points!

This is the perfect location for a relaxing break, this was my second visit, and looking forward to my next. I was lucky enough to have 5 days on a quilting retreat held at Russellee B&B, surrounded by lots of laughter, fun and quilting, and our hosts Dorothy and Tony made all of us feel extremely welcome and part of the family. It is quiet and peaceful, surrounded by lush gardens (hidden little grotto's and seats hidden everywhere, always somewhere quiet and shady to sit and relax or read), and beautiful countryside. Close enough to Tumut to make the commute into town, quick and easy, but far enough away to feel like you are in your own little piece of paradise.||Most of us ladies on the retreat have stayed here more than once and love it. It is also the ideal get a away when all you want to do is get away and let the stresses simply be washed away with the peace and beauty of the Tumut countryside. The amenities are great, breakfasts are amazing with lots of choices and the home made jams and chutneys are yum.||Thank you Dorothy and Tony for your hospitality, looking forward to my next visit||||Juanita B

If you are looking for a relaxing, first rate, affordable, free wifi, country B&B which is REALLY pet freindly then you cant go past Russellee B&B. I have had the pleasure of staying at Russellee a few times and never have I been disapointed.||||The breakfast supplies are plentiful, in fact, I challenge you to find better. ||||Dorothy and Tony are just wonderful hosts and nothing is too much. So along with Jessie, the family dog, you will be made very welcomed.||||Whether you travel solo, as a couple or as small group Russellee is the ideal place to stay. It is a spot where you can do as much as like or as little as you like. ||||For pet owners there are plenty of gorgeous places to walk your dogs. A 'must do' for either yourself or with your dog(s) is to walk along one of the delightful 'river walks' which can be found in the main Tumut park area.|| ||For people travelling from Canberra, Tumut is the ideal, all seasons, weekend getaway as its an easy 2 1/2 drive and those travelling from Melbourne to Sydney Tumut is the ideal stop-over. ||||For overseas visitors Russellee B&B is a fantastic display of what real Australian hospitality is all about.

My partner and I stayed in the Kookaburra Cabin at Russellee for one night to break up the drive from Sydney to Melbourne during Easter. We arrived at 9pm but Dorothy, the lovely owner, was quick to welcome us inside and show us to our cabin. Inside the kitchen had everything we might need for a meal - a portable stovetop, pots, pans, plates and a full sized fridge. Everything was tidy and welcoming and we felt like we were staying with our grandparents. The following morning, at Dorothy’s suggestion, we got up early and walked into the reserve behind the property where we were able to watch the sunrise over the mountains (spectacular!) with the company of Dorothy’s beautiful and very friendly border collies. There were crooks and sheep right near the cabin and we felt very much as home and welcome to come and go as we pleased. We’ll be keeping Russellee in mind as a great spot to stop and rest weary eyes, just off the Hume.

We had spent 2 nights in Canberra at a noisy hotel and wanted a good nights sleep on our visit to Tumut.||We booked only the night before and did not research well (me thinking the B&B was on the river) So when we arrived the older style portable building was a initially a little disappointing despite such a low tariff .||Once inside we found a very clean and tidy cosy accommodation. ||Everything I could think of was provided and thoughtfully done.||Once we settled in we really enjoyed the place and the occasional visit of the 2 friendly dogs ||We really thank Tony and his wife for providing such a caring business but still providing our privacy ||Had a great sleep

We stayed in the bungalow, neat and tidy has everything you'd need including stove, toaster etc.at a great price. Welcome Easter chocolates were a nice touch. Breakfast included cereal, toast, fruit, juice, yoghurt, selection of teas and brewed coffee all is ncluded in the price ($135). Access to BBQ and parking right next to the bungalow was convenient. Very quiet at night.

Beautifully appointed room (Rosella room). The room was large, clean and comfortable. There is a queen sized bed plus a single bed. The accommodation is kid and pet friendly. The property has a beautiful garden which is fenced off. The owners have 2 dogs of their own who are very friendly. There is basic breakfast provided and the fride was stocked with fresh milk, yoghurt and bottled water. There is basic cooking implements in the room including a hot plate, toaster and electric pan. The place is about 5km from the Tumut town centre.
