We really enjoyed our stay! Perfect setup and close to the fossicking areas. The pool and AC were a savior as we arrived possibly too close to summer! It was hot! The place was clean and tidy, hosts were welcoming and wildlife all around! We will be back! Thanks again, Nick, Vee and Oliver

Welcoming hosts.
Tranquil beautiful setting which is a credit to the owners. If you are looking for a couples getaway, from your everyday busy life this is definitely the place to come and unwind. Will definitely be back

The jewellery on display is simply stunning and Jane is so patient and helpful in sharing her in depth experience of gems. We were blown away by the serenity of the environment, the generous sharing of knowledge and the competitive pricing for beautiful locally mined sapphires.

Our 2 bedroom unit was unbelievable, full of personal little touches - and a laundry! The outlook from our porch over the gardens with its friendly wallabies & birds looked very natural. Jane Taylor's fine cut sapphires are exquisite.They don't need a light shining on them to make them dazzle. I saw at least three that I really wanted.

Our stay here was fantastic. The rooms were big, we’ll set out and comfortable. The kitchen was well resourced. The communication and helpfulness great. I’d love to stay again at Rubyvale Motel. Just great. The experience of fossicking was somewhat addictive ad we enjoyed going back to the motel and sitting under the veranda in the park like surroundings

This is a beautiful spot. Very quiet & wildlife at the door. We have a one bedroom unit with everything you need & a free laundry. Lovely hosts who also have a jewellery shop.

Great place to stay in the heart of Queensland's gem region.|This was our second stay at the Rubyvale Motel Holiday Units and each visit has been positive and delightful. The rooms are scrupulously clean, well appointed and offer what seems to be the best accommodation option in the area. |Unfortunately we didn't have an observatory "experience" due to phase of the moon, but I'm sure anyone interested in the stars would not be disappointed.

We stayed in unit 2 for a long weekend, coming from the Sunshine Coast this by far the nicest motel we’ve stayed in. We very were impressed with all of the amenities. The owners are lovely and will happily give you all of the recommendations and info you’ll need for your stay.
