We had a short overnight stay at this bed and breakfast. We got in late in the evening and left after breakfast. We wished we could have stayed longer to explore the grounds. We had the two bedroom suite that was very roomy for all 4 of our young kids. She had the cot set up already for us. ||The place is dated, but is comfortable and clean. It was like staying at an Aunt's house. It was fun to look through the books on the bookshelves. I would probably do away with the selection of full size soaps and shampoos and just keep it simple. It made the bathroom seem a little cluttered. ||The pancake breakfast was phenomenal! She was even so kind to serve us 15 minutes earlier than her usual schedule so we could catch our flight to Lady Elliot Island. Good pancakes!!||All in all it was a lovely stay. They were very accommodating and we would go back again!

Would highly recommend a stay at the Rubyanna Rise B&B for anyone stopping in Bundaberg. We just booked it as a stopover on our way up the coast but wish we could of stayed longer. Brian and Margaret are very accommodating and make you feel welcome. The view from the room on the first floor is amazing and the room is so spacious. Breakfast was delicious and the perfect start to our long journey ahead, Margaret was also more than happy to cook breakfast earlier for us as we had to get on the road. |Thanks for the great stay! 5*

We had the downstairs rooms which was a double room and a closed in patio.. One room had a noisy box air conditioner the other had none.. Not even a ceiling fan. There was pet hair on the floor things generally felt unclean, so much so.. no one felt we could use the shower. The beds were not comfortable. The breaky was lovely but had we glanced into the kitchen prior to eating, we would not have eaten there as it was terribly untidy and one would wonder how clean it was. The reception area was a huge jumble of papers & mess. The place had potential but was a huge disappointment to us. I would not recommend it at all.

This bed and breakfast reminded me of travelling to visit and stay with family you still get on with but dont see very often. Margaret and Brian are so friendly and make you feel at home from the first minute. The house is substantial and the accommodation areas are big. Full size snooker table, pool and balcony looking over the cane fields makes you want to hum the 'dallas' theme, with a north queensland feel.||||My daughter called her mother to break the news that she had just had the best pancakes in the world for breakfast. When we asked for the recipe, it was on the computer ready for printing, such is the demand. Wonderful place compared to the service by numbers we usually get. We are going back next year and mum is coming to sample the pancakes first hand.

Clean and spacious upstair rooms. Very good for a family with couple of kids. Breakfast was gorgeous. Kids loved the pancakes and we enjoyed the fresh english breakfast. Wished we could stay longer to enjoy the surrounding and other facilities like pool and games inside the house.

Our pet friendly was very clean and comfortable. Our hosts were extremely gracious and gave us personal friendly service. Breakfast was wonderful, we enjoyed our cooked breakfast and the pancakes were so yummy home made will come back for me. I can not thank Brian and Margaret enough they really looked after us and we enjoyed our stay. So thank you very much from Sharon, Bob, Gypsy (black kelpie), Rajah (red kelpie)||Genie (Ragdoll cat), Cleo(Ragdoll cat) and Savanah (Moggie cat). We love you guys heaps.

This was our first bed and breakfast and will not be our last. Really glad to have some local knowledge of what's where as we would have missed out on some interesting sites. ||The room(s) were a great size, well furnished and very comfortable. Breakfast was good and the experience overall was excellent.

From the internet b and b including full English breakfast good value for money accommodation.room spacious own terrace clean and tidy .informative and friendly owners.would recommend b and b and if we are in this vicinity again for sure this Is the place I would revisit.
