Stayed for two nights with three vans. Long drive-through sites close to ensuite style amenities. Camp kitchen was a bit ordinary, though the quiet surroundings, birds, and frogs made up for that. Shelly was a great host.

Great camping in relaxing surrounds. Huge drive-thru sites, power and water. Most with slabs. Fire pits and wood available. Great camp kitchen, closed on 3 sides. Gas BBQs. Ensuite style bathrooms with shower and toilet. The lagoons are peaceful and frequented by a variety of water birds. The adjacent bushland has a maze of tracks with abundant birdlife. We are currently enjoying sunset sitting outside our tent and listening to birdsong. This place is magical. Beautiful surroundings, flat sites, very clean amenities, a lagoon with free water toys for the kids. A trampoline and playset. It is peaceful and quiet overnight. Tonight we're having a fire pit using the available bagged wood and brazier....$10 to use. Pet friendly. Shelley is a wonderful hostess. I've already recommended this idyllic holiday place to my friends and family. I'm going to be very sorry to leave.

Relaxing time at Ruben Lagoon in Chinchilla, solving the problems of the world.
Tonight we are attending the Rotary club of Chinchilla "Dinner Under the Stars"
Ruben Lagoon was such a great spot to stay at Chinchilla QLD.
Ruben Lagoons is a wonderful part of the world, watching the wildlife, swimming & kangaroos hopping around , if you look up, you may spot a koala in a tree. The park is Dog friendly as we loved taking our dog along with us on out trips.

the rest room a clean & well maintained as well as a large free washing machine to use at any time.

We have had a lovely 7 days at Rubern Lagoons.
Enjoyed the quietness and the surroundings out of the hustle and bustle of large caravan parks.
Loved the drive through sites and the positioning of them. Green mown grass watered by a bore.
Shelley the owner was very obliging and very friendly. That lady never sits still. She is a pro at operating heavy machinery adding more sites, carting gravel, leavening and compressing the impending sites with the roller. Very progressive thinker and this park has great potential.
We have no hesitation in recommending Rubern Lagoons and look forward to another visit there.

Great spot, beautiful amenities and camp kitchen. We recently had a caravan muster there with 18 vans. Shelley did an amazing job, making us feel welcomed. The machinery on the property is also a must see.

Hidden paradise! This is a lovely quiet spot with tall trees, concrete pads, and a lagoon. Free fire pits available and firewood for a small fee. A well equipped camp kitchen, a laundry, toilet and showers. As the sun starts to set, the birds come to life and the pony begins to neigh. It's well worth a visit! Once you see the Showground, keep driving. You'll be pleased you did. We were😃
