Really nice cafe for breakfast, lunch or brunch. Good selection of teas and coffee. Bacon, eggs and bagels. The presentation was excellent and service was fast and friendly. Lovely outdoor setting.

What an amazing cafe in a back lane in Kyogle. Quirky, zany, and unusual decor. Inside and outside under cover. Superb Bastion Lane coffee from the roasters at Uki. The Turkish coffee served is delicious, as are the normal espresso based milk coffees. The homemade selection of sweet snacks is super delicious, and the homemade savoury pies look the business. The staff and waiters are all friendly and very efficient. Coffee is served on old picture frames complete with prints. So cool. Only had time for morning tea, but I will definitely be back for lunch. If you're in Kyogle and you want superb coffee, this is the place.

Really gorgeous halloumi bagel. Very nice cappuccino. Lots of attention to detail with crockery/serving implements and all the fixtures and fittings make it stand out from other cafes. Service was great, very friendly staff. Seemed popular so wouldn't be surprised if food service took a while at times, but was fine for us.
Others in my party had fruit toast and a pie: nothing was left on plates and not a bad word to be said.

Beautiful location. Lots of tables inside and out. Great lush garden surrounding the Cafe. Lovely staff. Brilliant and fresh food. Bit pricey but worth the money.

I and my husband fell in love with this cafe at once. The location is great, there is a veranda and a few tables in the beautiful garden with lots of lovely plants and a water spray system to cool down on those warm days. We were lucky we got a table there on Pumpkin festival day as Kyogle was crowded. Despite that the place was full and the staff was busy we were served quickly and the staff was very friendly and hospitable. The meal was delicious, all ingredients were fresh and wholesome. We highly recommend this cafe when in Kyogle. We shall be back:)))

UPDATE November 2022 : Always exceptional.
UPDATE July 2022 : Sunday drive back to a familiar space after a year away and so thankful to breakfast here again. I have never had a meal here that is less than exceptional! Two hours drive for any meal and coffee pays off here! Evolving to include an espresso machine now has taken nothing away from the originality of this special place!
ORIGINAL REVIEW 2020 : I love a place that has the confidence to say 'I'm sorry we don't serve lattes here (like every one else) we pride our selves in high quality Turkish style or French press! That confidence shows up in the food, the service and the dining area. Impressive.

Coffee was awesome. (Even the Aussie that was with me liked it.) We shared a breakfast bagel because a gentleman that was leaving told us “everything” is good so we had to try something even though we already had breakfast. Delish! We gobbled it down before I had a chance to photograph it. (However, I’m not the type to photo my food). The decor is charming here and I love the plants and flowers everywhere. We both enjoyed our stop here and plan on coming back through on the way home.
