Probably the only place on campus to have an after work drink this side of COVID. Although for an establishment subsidised by students, $11 for a beer is a bit rich for me (and most). Although the high prices do ensure it's not super challenging to find a seat on a weeknight.

It's a trap
You buy tickets for a concert that starts at 7PM, then when you arrive you find out that it actually starts at 9PM
You want to get out to grab some food and return at the starting of the event and they tell you that you cannot go out if you want to come back, so you are trapped in the place with only one option for food, very overpriced.
Shame on you

Had a great day here at the Hobby Hangout - Trading Card Show. Great venue. Chick Chick Bom Burger was nice at the bar area. Got some good card packs & singles.

Alchohol prices are absurd to say the least. Day light robbery ?. Nice venue, we did BingoLoco, great location, close to public transport BUT yes, not sure if the location or event organisers holds the liquor licence? Prices were almost 300% above retail.

I really like how informal and easy it is to access this venue. It's fairly small, so you can get very close to the artists, which is great. Also, there are enough bars and bathrooms that you rarely see lines. It's always hot inside, even in the winter, but they usually have a cloak room. Sometimes it's hard to find enough information about the event online. So I want to share that we got resale tickets on Tixel and that worked - despite being an event where names were in the ticket, the security didn't check for names just for age. This was a relief. What annoys me about this venue is the acoustics. The quality of the sound on the top floor is garbage, totally distorted. If you're on the main floor, but below the second floor's structure, the sound is also not very good. So you need to stay relatively close to the stage to get a good sound quality. As long as you do that, you'll have an amazing time!

When confused resorted to closed food joint. UNSW roundhouse, ordered their chicken parmigiana which comes with fries and coleslaw. Parma was alright, as you can see they used bacon instead of ham. Fries were also ok although some more seasoning would have been good and instead of coleslaw got some shredded salad had nothing on it, no salt, no seasoning nothing - super lame. Overall dish was ok but seem pricey despite being on Friday special for $16 considering the size.
