The staff were lovely.

We booked and paid for a cabin , however did not stay for the followowing reasons.
Check in is 2 pm, lunch is from 12 - 2 pm, we arrived at 3pm.
The kitchen is closed from 2 pm till 12 pm the following day, this means no dinner or breakfast, since we skipped lunch...
The whole place closes at 4.30pm
No mobile reception
No TV in room
You will need to bring your own food to cook on the BBQs, no BYO all for $167 a nigh we didn't bother looking at the room.

The only reason we give it 3 stars because of how lovely and hard working the staff are

A lovely setting with a rustic feel. Only do lunch and the coffee could/should be improved. We camped on a lovely shady field with sufficient amenities. Was disappointed to learn that there was no camp kitchen and therefore no refrigerator, for a ‘resort’ I thought this would be a given.

We travelled 70 klms for lunch only to find it was closed to the public. Could have had a sign saying that it was closed back at Alice Springs. We were not impressed.

Did not stay, yet, but will. Visited while exploring, and was greeted with absolutely wonderful hospitality by one of the owners. Really incredible experience, he shared a lot of local knowledge and history. Had a quick and excellent lunch. Unbeatable service and such a lovely place in a wonderful natural environment. This is a real gem and is certainly worth a drive. Looking forward to returning.

Spent a week here in the camping area, peaceful, great scenery, amenities were reasonable, power and non powered sites available, water and laundry facilities as well

Cute outback resort. They have cabins and lots of camping, both powered and unpowered. The meals are basic, but all the ones we had were very tasty and pretty large for an outback restaurant. Lots of animals around the place, like peacocks, chickens and horses, great for the kids. Pool was nice and refreshing. Toilets/showers at the camping area were clean and good. The large kitchen and air conditioned hall is a great space, not sure if you have to pay extra for that.

Such a brilliant place to visit. Lots of history and beautiful wildlife. Great spot to cool off with a drink after hiking or driving in the area.

We didn't stay here but called in for a drink and were given a tour of the buildings and a history, met the local pet bearded dragon. Lovely couple who run the place, thanks for showing us photos of your beautiful piece of the outback.
