We had such a lovely time with Ally and Vince. They were the perfect hosts. We also met 5 other people there and enjoyed catching up with them at breakfast and dinner, two couples were staying 2 nights, as we were. Our room was spacious, clean and the bed soooo comfortable. The location was ideal, lovely and quiet, and beautiful gardens. The house was a beautiful old home and we felt at home in the nicely furnished lounge room, the perfect place to chat to other travellers.

Thank you Ali and Vince for a wonderful, comfortable, homely stay in your lovely home! We were so pleased with the welcome you extended us, loved your 2 doggies (Tashie seemed to look after my sore foot). Dinner was an added bonus, most delicious and saved us a trip somewhere else. Breakfast was great, thanks Vince. Our room was clean, comfy and cosy. Had no concern walking 10 steps to our private bathroom. I highly recommend Roslyn House to everyone, one thing though, it’s not a place for children. Top marks from me.|

This was our last stop before returning to Hobart to fly home, we enjoyed the stay and hospitality here at Roslyn House. The big old house is beautifully maintained in the Derwent Valley and a great base to explore Mt Field National Park. not far from Hobart either. We had a large Queen room with a very comfortable bed. Vince and Ally are very polite and very mindful of people wanting their space which I found a beautiful attribute. We did also enjoy interacting with other guests in the lounge or at meal time. We chose to partake in the home cooked meal they offered prior to us arriving and it was Beautiful, just what we had been wanting after a week away from Home, a beautiful Home cooked meal. ( additional cost, but well worth it to sit and watch the sun go down also) Beautiful breakfast also, set us on our way to go to the local water falls. Vince was wealth of knowledge about local area. ||Look forward to sending friends and family to visit you and also to visit again. Regards. G and J

My partner Federico and I loved staying at Roslyn b&b, The b&b has so much character and history which we both found very interesting. The old Victorian home was stunning, clean and very well looked after. Ali and Vince were very hospitable and made us feel right at home, it was very cosy with the fire place warming the whole house. Our breakfast was a stand out, Vince’s baked bread and the full English breakfast was delicious. Ali is very knowledgable about the history and the local area which was helpful to us. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. ||Thankyou Vince and Ali

We chose this B&B due to its proximity to Salmon Ponds - our first destination the following morning. What we didn’t expect was the peacefulness and luxury of our accommodation.|Our hosts were lovely and ever so friendly. Our room was spacious and the bed was so comfortable and divine. We had bought a roast chook and salad for tea but were pleased to see that we could have had a BBQ pack too. There is no tv in your room but one available downstairs. We didn’t bother. Just enjoyed the peace and quiet. |You will have your own bathroom with us also beautifully appointed but not attached to your room. Not a bother as you are provided with robes. A hearty breakfast is also provided.

Stayed for three nights and thoroughly enjoyed the relaxing break. Lovely grand old home with very comfortable beds and very friendly hosts, who go out of their way to help you. Rooms are clean and the gardens are lovely. Big breakfast included with dinner an option, so makes for a perfect holiday. Wonderful location with lots of things to see and do in surrounding areas, including trout fishing. Would love to go back. Angela and Ray.

Amazing stay with best hosts imaginable. Will give privacy but engage in conversation with guests when the opportunity arises 🙂 Wide array on breakfast options. Helpful tips and thoughtful touches to the bedrooms. Everything is super clean. We truly loved our stay in Bushy Park, thanks to Vince and Ali! We would have loved to stay a bit longer.

This B&B is located a couple of kms out of the Bushy Park townsite and is very easy to find. As you approach it along a short gravel road the majesty of the place becomes apparent as you can see it standing out across the fields in the distance.||We were greeted by the hosts in a friendly manner and shown to our room. It is unusual in the aspect that your room is ensuited but your exclusive bathroom is a short distance away along the passage. We were upstairs in the "Browning Room" which provided the most beautiful views of the nearby countryside. The rooms are very well furnished but do not have their own TV||It has a common lounge area downstairs for all guests to enjoy with games, books and TV on offer. You really do not want for anything||The breakfast provided is a perfect way start your day with and, by arrangement, you can even get an evening meal. All in all an exceptionally good experience and stopover on our travels. Thoroughly recommended
