We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay in the Grevillea Suite at Rose Lindsay's Cottage. We arrived by train (without additional transport) before the standard check in time, wishing to spend some time exploring Springwood main street.|Annette, the owner, suggested she would meet us at the train & hold our bags until later in the afternoon after we were done. That was such great help being allowed quality time to follow up some family history in the Springwood Library & other shopping. Annette was so friendly and was like one of the family.|We loved the log fire readied by Annette for us to light & she also prepared the most yummy continental breakfasts (included in our tariff). She even sourced a local honey from Yellow Rock for us to try as our father was a Beekeeper handed down from his Father who began his beekeeping career at Springwood in 1920's then the family moved to NSW Northern Rivers (Woodburn) to carry on the business.|The lavender on the towels, chocolates & home baked cookies were beautiful. It was clear the owners went all out to ensure we had a memorable stay. The beds & pillows were very comfortable. What made our visit so special was that we shared with the owners that it was our Great Uncle Clarence Ambrose [Mick] Stratton 1895 - 1966, who was the builder & stonemason of the ground floor of the Rose Lindsay Cottage. The part sandstone home was just gorgeous and we can't wait to return. We took a short walk across the road & visited Normal Lindsay's Gallery also. The King Parrots, Crimson Rosella & other bird life were so tame and amazing. A truly gorgeous part of the Blue Mountains. Every experience was a good one. Even had a swing on the huge swing beside the Cottage. Brought the inner child out in us! We found the Springwood Sports Club a pleasant place to visit for lunch. A big thankyou Annette & Danny for your outstanding hospitality. For our experience, you deserve nothing less than 5 stars!

Our 2 night stay at The Loft, Rose Lindsay Cottage was everything we hoped it would be. Hosts Annette and Danny were very welcoming, yet not intrusive. They ensured we had everything we needed. We appreciated the extra touches of complimentary sparkling wine, chocolates, and cookies.|The accommodation is generously stocked with quality breakfast foods, and everything you need to prepare your own meals or snacks. |The open fire is very welcome...but if you don't want to use it a/c and the electric blanket do the job. The spa bath is a treat, and there are plenty of towels (and robes we later found!). This accommodation is spacious, very comfortable and tastefully furnished.|Norman Lindsay Gallery is just across the road.

This cottage was everything i dreamed of and more 🙂
You’ll get everything you need for breakfast in the fridge, and there’s a spa, champagne and the indoor fireplace was a surreal experience.

Annette was also the loveliest host ever. She had great recommendations for the Blue Mountains area and so lovely to chat with x

Highly recommend!

One of the loveliest places I’ve stayed in. It felt cosy the minute we stepped inside. Beautifully designed space. Special touches throughout, lavender, soap, fluffy towels, comfy bed and home made biscuits. Delicious fresh eggs, bacon, yoghurt and more for breakfast. Lovely hosts to deal with. Beautiful location. It was everything I imagined and more, just sorry I didn’t have time to enjoy the spa bath and open fireplace. So gorgeous we wanted to change the locks..but I think that’s frowned upon! Definitely recommend!

The Loft was just so comfy and welcoming, very clean and inviting. Beautiful charming thoughtful touches everywhere. Bed was good, plenty of space in loft to spread out and make meals etc. Towels soo soft, fire place beautiful. Breakfast and other food that was included in my stay was just superb. Gorgeous setting amongst the gardens and trees with the most stunning birds visiting daily. Was very delighted with warming facilities on offer: reverse cycle a/c, electric blanket and fireplace as blue mountains can get very chilly. I enjoyed the most relaxing spa bath and bathroom also has all these gorgeous little touches. Little balcony off bedroom area to enjoy your morning cuppa and you feel like you are up in the trees immersed in nature. What a winner this B & B is and what fabulous hosts. Thanks a mil Annette and Danny 🙂

You could not want for anything in the Loft of Rose Lindsay Cottage. It was rather hot during our visit but the gardens kept the temperature down and the air conditioning worked a treat when needed. We liked the balcony. The kitchen was well fitted out and scrummy breakfast supplies were provided. Overall it was cvery omfortable, roomy, and nicely decorated.

We've stayed here a few time for trips away to the Blue Mountains and there's a reason we keep coming back. The loft is beautiful and Annette and Danny put so much care and detail into preparing the loft for guests and it's always so lovely and peaceful there. We always really appreciate how they provide us fresh eggs from their hens, bacon for breakfast, biscuits, chocolate to have with tea and coffee; once you're there you feel like you don't need to leave for anything. Just get the fireplace going and you're all set. Thank you Annette and Danny, we look forward to our next visit.
