A conveniently located motel, located in a quiet are close to the Bowling Club and within easy walking distance of shops. The motel itself caters to people with limited mobility - we stayed in an accessible room which was spacious and comfortable and on the ground floor. The room was clean and quite well appointed, if a little tired-looking.||The motel boasts its own licensed restaurant, popular with locals and visitors alike. Meals are substantial and very reasonably priced. Service is excellent.||My only caveat is the the website for the motel states that the restaurant is open for 'breakfast, lunch and dinner', when in reality it is no longer open for breakfast (although a room-service breakfast is available from Tuesday to Saturday) and is not open on Sunday for dinner. An update of the website would prevent other travellers from being disappointed and scrambling to find somewhere open for breakfast and dinner on Mondays.||The managers are friendly and helpful.||We enjoyed our stay and will likely return.

Very comfortable rooms, great location and excellent for for our large golf group. Special thanks to Esslar for making our stay such a good one and organising the takeaway breakfast for everyone before they set out for golf. An awesome stay.

The service was excellent, the staff wonderful, and the motel is situated near the beach. Their Bar and eating areas were of great value. Parking was safe and undercover. Close to many cafes and eateries. The motel food was excellent as well.

A very nice and comfortable motel I was made to feel welcome by all staff from the receptionist and all the staff. The room was very clean and comfortable it felt like home. The restaurant very nice food with a different version of bruschetta which was based on roast pumpkin which I found delicious.

The room was ok, however the motel is very noisy, there are people playing loud music and talking in the hallway, no staff can stop the noise. Not a good place to stay if you are in the middle of the road trip, and not suitable for family.

Room was spacious & included well appointed kitchenette & lovely comfortable lounge chairs. Very clean & comfortable throughout. The on-site restaurant served fantastic meals at extremely reasonable prices. Staff were all very friendly. A real gem.

We enjoyed our stay at Rockpool, clean, comfortable and good value. Located walking distance to the bowling club with a lovely pool, although it's small. The restaurant was great, delicious meals at a reasonable price. The room service breakfast was also excellent. The staff were friendly and we couldn't fault our stay here. I would highly recommend this Motor Inn for your next stay at South West Rocks!

Whilst we didn't stay at the hotel, the rooms that we could see looked quite comfortable. Being a boutique hotel, the pool and surroundings look to be quite intimate and pleasant.
What really got us was the food, the service and the atmosphere. The staff there were very pleasant and very helpful...nothing was too much trouble for them. Our meals....well, what can I say... they were absolutely delicious..., washed down with a good selection of drinks. The price was quite reasonable for what we had, a pleasant surprise. The Rockpool Motor Inn is marked on out map for a return visit.
