All staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful at all times. A busy night on their steak "special" night. The steak meals were cooked as ordered, filling, and very good quality. No obvious wait time for meals to be served even though the dining area was crowded. Besides the nightly specials deal there is a comprehensive menu that would cater for most needs. The outer appearance belies the inner gem. Worth trying!

Steak cooked on a rock is awesome! The food is great and bang for buck. Atmosphere is standard to a typical hotel/pub. Amazed at how much they cater to kids. We had a great family meal.

Visited the new refurbished Rocklea Hotel last night. I thoroughly enjoyed a pumpkin and haloumi salad and my husbands steak and mushroom sauce was tender and tasty. Fabulous friendly service and great food and ambience. For anyone who loves steak there is a $17, 250g rump special on Wednesday nights, and on Monday to Friday $15 lunch specials. Great spot!

The hot chips were great!
Couldn’t finish the chicken burger, and the meals all came out at the same time! We’ll be going back to try the steak dinner and the parmi’s.

Unreal! $19 Wednesday lunch steak special. Meal arrived in under 10 mins with the restaurant busy and 3/4 full. 250g steak cooked to perfection, chips were golden and crunchy and a crisp, edible salad with the perfect amount of dressing. Wait staff were very welcoming and helpful. Excelent service! Undoubtedly one of the best casual dining options around. Well done team!

Every time I come to the Rocklea Hotel, it is always a positive expereince! Recently held a birthday dinner for my partner with a group of 15 people and the food came out nice and fresh, the staff were so friendly and they even decorated the tables, how nice!

Very delicious food, especially their Wednesday streak specials and Thursdays wings. Recently moved interstate and certainly will miss this place!
