We chose this hotel because of the inviting photos of a blue, clean swimming pool. On arrival, after making our way through the pool gate hanging on by a single hinge, we found a green swimming pool covered in leaves and definitely not safe for swimming much to the disappointment of my kids. The room was mostly adequate but, like the rest of the building smelled of smoke despite their strict no smoking policy. The bathroom door could not be latched as it had been installed upside down (complete with clothes hangers at ankle height). This hotel has the potential to be a good, well located option but is desperately in need of some decent maintenance.

Before I begin this review: The team at this hotel are beyond amazing. Their dedication to looking after their community and travellers is second to none. The following is not a reflection of them or their work within a company that clearly do not listen to their concerns until the worst happens.

This hotel is in desperate need of a cash injection and additional support for their staff from upper management, especially with regards to electrical management, emergency response and general maintenance.

The state of the pool has already been addressed by other guests - this is definitely not the fault of the staff.

Whilst staying there were two break-ins of vehicles, one being my vehicle. The town itself has an awful lack of housing and it is little wonder that there are people taking anything they can to survive out in the heat.

This hotel is in desperate need of compassionate security which clearly is not high on the priority list for upper management. The lack of of care for a manager who gives 5 star service to absolutely everyone who walks through the door is absolutely astounding to me.

Community consultation on this site re: the needs of the community is necessary, as is extra staffing and a payrise for the existing staff.

This hotel would be run into the ground if not for Sonia and her crew, and Central Apartment Group upper management should be ashamed of themselves for the delayed responses they give their team during emergencies eg. Storms and power outages.

The room was clean and comfortable - in a convenient location.
I left a white nightdress in my room and I haven’t been able to reach anyone by phone. I can call to pick it up next week when we are going home. Could you please hold it for me?

Walked in with my key and straight away the room stinks. Brought my kids over and the shower doesn’t work, tv doesn’t work with no NETFLIX connection, and the aircon doesn’t work so we decided to go for a swim. To no avail, a green moldey pool awaits us. Would not reccomend

Sonia was very obliging and helpful.
Rooms are basic but comfortable and clean for an overnight stay.

Location is fabulous.
Bed was comfortable, however could do with a renovation as quite outdated and needs a lift as it is not accessible to get to the rooms with heavy luggage or accessible for people with a disability.

The photos of the room did not reflect the actual room we were very disappointed. The room smelt like cigarette smoke. We were sold a King Suite which should have included a king size bed but the bed was a queen & very uncomfortable.

No map to find room only a direction ...stairwell under the car park ...but where is the car park
No lift ...carried bags up 4 flights of stairs stairwell dirty with rubbish

When checking out receptionist did not care..she said direction comes from head office ...NOT impressed
