My family and I stayed for 3 days at Robyn's nest, it was a very cozy and comfortable stay. The area is incredibly quiet and scenic, I enjoyed exploring the lake and the nearby areas. It's conveniently located, only a 10 min drive from the airport and is very close to the local beaches and hikes. Our cottage was right next to Goodenia restaurant, which has delicious food (and is very popular there for their dim sums). Would highly recommend a stay there!

A beautiful resort located on the shores of Lake Merimbula.

Cosy accommodation, and first class dining in the restaurant. Swimming pool, tennis court.

Make sure you have the local oysters from the menu whilst you are there, they just melt in your mouth!

Lake Merimbula is so clear and a lovely walk into town on a boardwalk.

Highly recommended! A great holiday!

Such a gorgeous, secluded, tranquil spot. Cozy rooms and decor with a lot of charm. Friendly helpful staff with a great restaurant on site with an extensive wine menu which we appreciated. Food was great and they offer room service and selection of dvds at the main reception. Great stay, will be back

We spent a night in one of the guest rooms in the main house. Location is beautiful, peaceful and quiet. However, the accommodation was tired, old and very outdated. No ventilation in the bathroom, taps leaked, fixtures and fitting tarnished, and the queen bed was 2 beds pushed together without it being fastened underneath,hence the beds were separating during the night. Maybe the cottages are a better quality room but I wouldn't recommend a room in the guest house based on my experience.

One of the resorts or hotels that we loved and kept coming back to. This resort is a bit off the main town of Merimbula, however just a mere 5 mins drive from town is a hidden treasure. The service is excellent and and cottage is spacious and comfortable. Peace, tranquility and a beautiful lake-facing resort gives the feeling of luxury without really paying an arm or leg for it. A really nice little secret enclave... And kangaroos abound on the hillside. What more could you ask for?

Relaxing, wonderful views, a delightful retreat! Wait! Read on..... there is nothing better than accommodation that has a welcoming and professional manager and staff (10/10 to young Monica who served our meals with poise and a beautiful smile. She has the ability to work in any field where excellent customer skills are appreciated). Travelling on a motorcycle means that you want to eat and walk back to your accommodation. Chef Desmond Piures provides a first class dining experience (Goodenia restaurant). We believe that he meets the Michelin Star criteria for quality of product, mastery of flavor and cooking techniques, with a humble, yet confident and friendly personality that is represented in the dining experience. The icing on the cake is that it is great value for money.

Great secluded location in acres of bush land with 180 degree views if the lake. The room was large with plenty of storage snd a roomy bathroom. Potatoos were around and the reception staff welcoming. We had a wonderful peaceful stay away from the main road and would stay again in a heartbeat.

What a delightful find! It's quirky and a little chintzy, but the lakeside location and tranquillity are unbeatable. It's an ideal place to unwind, enjoy the stunning views and beautiful bird song and to throw in a line off the private jetty. It's a quick drive into town and nearby Sunny's on the lake is a lovely spot for breakfast. We stayed in the guesthouse and the room was comfortable and quiet, with a huge deck and great views of the lake. We stayed 2 nights and could have stayed a few more. Only (small) drawback was the onsite restaurant: the set menu 3-course dinner ($58) was disappointing and did not deliver. The food looked and tasted pre-prepared and not freshly cooked, and as a result was not good value for money. With plenty of good places to eat in town, I would skip the onsite dining.
